Assembling the jigsaw gives the above pattern.  That pattern is a series of maritime signal flags with all the color removed: black is black, white is white, yellow is white, and red and blue are indistinguishable greys.  Each signal flag codes a letter.  This pattern reads "Person waving a red flag in a corrida" which is a MATADOR.
