Final Destination
by impossibleroot
You finally punch the button marked: Earth. Your long tour of the inner planets is over! The chief's heavily obfuscated message didn't stop you from recognizing some of your favorite things: candy bars, fine automobiles, and professional tennis.
The first part of the diagram is a list of candy bars, represented by wrapper color, name color (inset), and name length, and ordered alphabetically. The outer lines indicate the company that makes the bar: 100 Grand, Almond Joy, Baby Ruth, Butterfinger, Caramello, Clark, Heath, Hershey's, KitKat, Milky Way, Mounds, Mr. Goodbar, Crunch, PayDay, Nutrageous, Snickers, Twix, Whatchamacallit, and Zero. Your original destination of Mars is starred.
The second piece is a list of car makes, with dashed lines representing blanks: Aston Martin, Buick, Cadillac, Dodge, (E), Ford, GMC, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jaguar, Kia, Lincoln, Mercury, Nissan, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, (Q), Rolls Royce, Saab, , Toyota, (U), Volvo, (W), (X), Yugo, and (Z). Mercury, your second stop, is starred.
Finally, the third piece is the winners and their opponents of the women's finals at Wimbledon. Consistent winners are marked with color, and the color scheme restarts after each line. The final winners are shapes with sides equal to the letters in the players' names. Venus (Williams) is starred.
Whew! You anticipate a safe trip home with hopefully few complex diagram puzzles to deal with.
