The shape appears similar to the tip of a wedge or flat-head screwdriver.
The object shown was created in a 3d modeling program as the intersection
of two shapes: a cylinder and a triangular prism.
A cylinder appears to be a circle from above, and a square from the side
(if its height is equal to its diameter). By intersecting it with a triangular
prism, it takes on a triangular appearance from the third direction.
