Clueless Crossword

The above is a clueless crossword. Basically, you
have a crossword grid and you have to fill in the
blanks so that every across & down contains a legible
word. There is one catch, however, you are only
allowed to use each letter of the alphabet once. It's
tougher than it sounds.
Solvers Note: Since puzzles like these are VERY hard
to make, I've had to use a couple of words which may
not immediately leap to mind. The first of them is a
french phrase that is commonly used in English (For
example, C'est la vie), the second is the name of a
river in Greek mythology.
To help you, I have given you one letter, S which is
the first letter of the word from Greek mythology.
The letter X is being used in place of a blank square
in a normal crossword and the X you can see t here is
not part of any word. There is another letter X in
the crossword.
