Witch Hunt Night 1

It was a cold Friday morning when the townsfolk of Mistswallow Ridge ventured out and saw that the benevolent Bishop that they had all turned to during times of strife, the benevolent Bishop that had provided consel, that provided haven, had been turned inside out. The only proof of his identity was the robe that he had worn to every Sunday mass. Rumors had begun to circulate that the Bishop choose this tiny town out of all towns because he knew that he must defend this town against Satan to save the world. But now that the good Bishop had fallen, it is up to the townsfolk to complete his work. They go forth and gathered firewood of immense quantities and piled them at the center. "This be the pyre for the wicked" they cried and now they prepare to burn their first criminal of the day.

The town gathers from house to house, first before Darquiel and now before Tsunade. But night is fast approaching and time is of the essence. The town has but a mere 12 hours before darkness decends. Prepare the torches or extinguish them, with 14 people it is 8 to lynch.

This is a random bandwagon of randomness. It landed on Tsunade, and he never showed up to say anything, so it continued unabated. Now it threatens to engulf him.

After a robust and heated confrontation, and despite the anger of half the inhabitants of the quiet town, all their anger in the end quelled down as night descended and they return to their homes and hovels to celebrate the night of indulging in poultry. The torches they had lit to burn the quiet Tsunade has instead been set under their partridges and their chickens, their ducks and their turkeys. And so grace has been said and prayers prayed, hoping that the madness of yesterday night was but a one time instance.

Despite the prayers of the townsfolk, it seems peace has not quite settled on the town yet. When sun finally broke, and indeed many have noticed a substantial delay in the breaking of the sun, the townsfolk were horrified to discover Tsunade's house on fire. While many had been inclined to set Tsunade, this was not the work of a righteous mob. Tsunade's remains, as with the house and the belongings were all disintegrated. But before long, another gruesome discovery was made. It appears that Tsunade was not the only victim of the night, Fritzler, or a third of him was found as well. The remaining third was transmuted into cold and unyielding steel. The day has begun, with 12 left it will be 7 to lynch.
