The X-Men have always been able to overcome adversity. However, what will happen when mutantkind is faced with their biggest threat yet? The X-Men awake to find two dead mutant bodies on the front lawn. Storm, one of the founding members of the X-Men, and Toad, one of the well-known members of their sworn enemy, the Brotherhood. A note lies on Storm's body... "The Day of Reckoning has Come." The X-Men must join together with the Brotherhood to solve this heinous crime before it's too late!

There is a dual funeral on the front lawn of the X-Mansion. The Brotherhood and the X-Men are both in attendence. It is an emotional day for mutantkind, as both sides have lost one of their own. They are buried side by side, as a show of unity in the solving of this crime. Professor X invites Magneto and the Brotherhood to spend the night at the X-Mansion. Magneto wants to go after the killers right away, but Charles disagrees, saying there will be time for that tomorrow. Night falls as sworn enemies retire to their quarters and prepare for what is sure to be an awkward night.

THE RULES (shamelessly stolen from Foggy's Smurfia, who apparently stole them from Mgm and Ctorj)
[00] Newbies should try to make themselves familiar with the basic rules of mafia as described in the FAQ and theory sections on http://www.mafiascum.net
[01] Have fun and don't be a jerk. Please have consideration for the other players and the mod, and actually PLAY the game by posting and voting. If you cannot post for some reason, please contact the mod. I will be sending prods if you're not playing. I detest lurkers.
[02] No communication outside the thread unless your role allows you to do so.
[03] Get your choices in before the deadlines. There will be no random choices.
[04] No quoting role PMs or night messages. If you have a death wish, request replacement. When in doubt ask the mod.
[05] If you're dead YOU'RE DEAD. No more posting relevant information after that. One bah post is allowed.
[06] Lynching will be carried out once the deadline is reached or there is the number needed to lynch, whichever happens first. In case of a tie by deadline time, all those tied will be lynched. In the endgame (four players or less) only lynches with a regular majority will occur.
[07] Only votes in BOLD will be counted. Unvotes are mandatory.
[08] Only votes with players correctly spelled names (or abbreviations, see player list) will count.
[09] Do NOT edit or delete your posts! If you made a coding error, just post again.
[10] Do NOT post in invisible text.
[11] You are not allowed to quote or paraphrase your winning condition, unless you want to risk a modslaying.
[12] The mod is always right, even if I'm wrong. Deal with it. (I might be lenient on this one)

Notes from me:

1. When it comes to nightkills etc, I choose to reveal or not reveal info in the death scene. For example, if Angel was in the game, which he isn't, I might say something about death by dropping. I'm not trying to sell you out, it has to do with balance.

2. This is my first game that I've modded. I think it's pretty balanced, but if things get hectic for some reason, I apologize in advance. Just try to have fun and not take things too seriously, and I'll do the same.

One more thing- background information- www.uncannyxmen.net

The story is unique, so don't base votes after a storyline in the comics. Anything could happen.

All choices are in.

It seemed like nothing went awry during the night at the X-Mansion. A quick headcount reveals everyone is alive. The only thing suspicious is that Mgm's door had been blown off and he had been attacked. He doesn't remember much, but the important thing is he's alive. Confused, the X-Men and Brotherhood head to the Memorial Garden where they are building statues of both Storm and Toad. When they get there, they stumble upon an empty grave and a noose. Attached to a tree is a note, written in the same handwriting as the one found on Storm.

You can't run forever.... there is a traitor among you.

It is now Day. With 16 alive, it's 9 to lynch. Get going.

Of course not, what do you expect from the first vote of the game?

It's effectively random, but I've given up writing random in front of my vote a while back. For all purposes, you can consider my first vote of a game random if I don't give any specific reason.

Samadhi could've been responsible for the attack on me, but it could just as easily have been someone else trying to incriminate the people who are likely to target me. So that event doesn't really tell me much.

I was under the impression this post was quite clear about the fact I didn't have any information on who's scum. My flavour text implies a certain character is the doctor, but I don't know what player that role belongs to either.
