The twenty of you have all gathered at Mr. Boddy's mansion for the weekend. Unfortunately, a storm rolled in and washed out the only bridge connecting the mansion with the road on the other side of the river. Even more unfortunately, someone killed Mr. Boddy during a blackout at dinner. This was obviously done by the Mafia, because Mr. Boddy was about to announce who they were. Too bad Mr. Boddy forgot to mention how many Mafia members there were! Now, the guests have to stay in the mansion until the bridge is repaired, but that will take quite a while - so long that it's not likely many of them will survive the night...

17. Pooky (Mrs. White, Serial Killer) killed Night Two in the Study with the Revolver
19. Sineish I (Capt. Brown, Insane Cop/Ignorant Doctor) killed Night Two in the Dining Room with the Knife
18. amb II(replacing Rolandofthewhite) (Mrs. Maroon, Mafia) lynched Day 2 in the Basement with the Spikes
12. Undomeil(replacing Lucresia) (Sgt. Gray, Insane Cop/Ignorant Role Blocker), modkilled Night 3 at the Stairs with the Waxed Floor

Rules:
[1] The most important rule: Have fun and don't be a jerk! If you're not having fun, you're not breaking this rule if it's because someone else is being a jerk. In this case, you are exempt. If you're dead, you can have as little fun as you want because you technically aren't playing.
[2] Do not post if you're dead. There will not be a seance or anything like that, so don't bother. I will make an exception for "bah" posts, but that's it.
[3] Do not post at night. You're supposed to be asleep at the time - or pretending to be asleep, if you have a role that requires you to be awake.
[4] Those of you whose roles allow you to talk with each other via PM or e-mail can only do so at night. Otherwise, do not PM or e-mail any player concerning this game. You're not allowed to quote these.
[5] Days will last until the amount needed to lynch (at least half of the number of survivors) is reached. The only exception is that if I feel a day is lasting too long, I may impose a deadline. Once that deadline is reached, the player with the most votes gets lynched. In the event of a tie, nobody gets lynched.
[6] Votes will only be counted if they're in bold. To change a vote, you must first clearly unvote - also in bold.
[7] Do not edit or delete your posts. If you make a coding error, make a new post. It shouldn't be too hard.
[8] Any disputes not clearly decided by the above rules concerning this game should be directed to the mod - namely, me - for decision. What I decide is the final decision, unless I change my mind. But it would probably take quite a bit to make me change my mind. _________________ I'm with me. |

All right. I'll randomize TCM's choice (if any), let someone who dies replace Rolandofthewhite (whom I have contacted on Mafiascum and who does not wish to continue), and post the results later today. _________________ I'm with me. |

You wake up the next morning and meet in the upstairs hallway, just as you intended. The first one out is DracoSuave, followed by The Cheshire Man, Pooky, Mastermind of Sin, darquiel, Sineish, cheerful coffin, Iammars, esme, Foggy, Omega Centauri, Fritzler, Lucresia, Courk, Peregrin, King Enigma, then... then...
Wait a minute. Where are amb, Jedo the Jedi, Mgm, and Rolandofthewhite?
Suddenly, you hear a scream. The sixteen of you dash down the stairs to find Mgm standing at the bottom of them in shock. On the other side of the Hall is Jedo the Jedi.
Dead. Done by a blow to the head. A Candlestick is found nearby. You, having no respect for the dead, sift through his pockets and find his wallet and a container of pills. Apparently Jedo, A.K.A. Dr. Turquoise, could prevent someone from being killed for one night with a pill - but the pill doesn't take effect until the next night.
Suddenly, you hear another scream, coming from the Conservatory. The seventeen of you dash off to discover Rolandofthewhite and amb.
Rolandofthewhite is very much alive, thankfully, but amb is dead. Killed by the Knife. You quickly search through amb's pockets and find out that she was none other than the famous Miss Scarlet. What was not so famous about her was that she was a member of a secret cult, and the only one present. Every night, she would attempt to recruit someone to the cult. Fortunately, the cult was a loose one, so it would immediately disperse if its leader was killed.
Congratulations! The Cult loses! But the game is not over yet...
Rolandofthewhite suddenly has a confession to make. The others gasp as Rolandofthewhite pulls off a mask. Apparently, Rolandofthewhite was a fan of amb's, so Roland had plastic surgery done. Now, Rolandofthewhite looks exactly like amb.
In fact, amb has taken over Rolandofthewhite's role. Now, amb is no longer Miss Scarlet but someone else...
amb, Miss Scarlet, Cult Leader/Recruiter was killed with the Knife in the Conservatory.
Jedo the Jedi, Dr. Turquoise, Delayed Doctor was killed with the Candlestick in the Hall.
amb is replacing Rolandofthewhite.
With eighteen survivors, it will take ten to lynch.
Note: I chose amb to replace Rolandofthewhite because amb's recruit failed (obviously, because amb's dead!), and the identity of the failed recruit is unknown to everybody except amb. Plus, it doesn't really matter. Unlike Jedo's knowledge of who he protected... now that might make a difference... _________________ I'm with me. |

Mod can I reveal who I tried to recruit. I cant see how it makes a difference, but knowing my luck I picked the worst possible player .... |

Courk modded the previous version of this game, yet is still alive? Could that imply she might be scum, since she'd be dangerous to scum teams otherwise? (albeit shed also be the obvious N1 doc choice as well)
Courk - is there any info about the game we should know? Or ideas or suggestions based on your modding experience of how we should be playing this out? |

I don't have my complete notes from the game because that computer crashed, but from reading over the end game of the old thread, and from what I remember, we shouldn't dismiss weapons and rooms as just flavor. I had assigned rooms and weapons to different kinds of kills. So something like "He was killed with a pipe in the Hall" would mean I don't have my complete notes from the game because that computer crashed, but from reading over the end game of the old thread, and from what I remember, we shouldn't dismiss weapons and rooms as just flavor. I had assigned rooms and weapons to different kinds of kills. I think I had mafia always kill with the knife, but they alternated through 3 different rooms. Consistent rooms and/or consistent weapons probably indicates the same category of killer.
I don't know how helpful the past game will be. I didn't let mafia choose who was doing the kill. I also had recruiting masons and a cult, which had some odd formula for success and possible death if they chose the same target or something.
Similar colors will probably be somehow grouped together, up to a point. In my game, Miss Scarlet was the GF, and the others were other shades of red. I think my docs were either a white or an off-white. I did have a Mr. Gray, who got to choose his alignment.
Col. Mustard was a vigilante because of his military experience.
Beyond that, I don't know how helpful I can be. This is one of those games where things can be interpreted in so many ways. To me, Miss Scarlet being mafia made sense because mafia -> kill -> blood -> red. However, Col. Mustard is also a logical choice because of his past experience.
I expect most of the weapons to show up. The noose might only be used in lynching scenes. In my game, people were lynched, but the really rare cult-mason scenario that involved the formula also resulted in deaths by hanging. I think I got all the weapons into my game, but I don't remember how. I'm pretty sure I did, because I didn't really want to use the rope for the cult-mason thing, but it was all I had left. |

| LOL - i had to read that post a few times... I was thinking it was pretty funny "killed in the hall means My computer crashed". What would killed in the library mean, my hard drive was formatted? :p Or in the secret passageways means you turned up to update and found your window smashed and an empty desk. |

| I was going to say "He was killed in the Hall with the pipe" meant that the mafia had killed someone, when I realized that I had used the Hall for the cult-mason thing and the mafia killed with knives. Or something. Again, no notes. |

Besides, roland found a body too and you replaced him. So if I am suspicious for finding a body, you (amb) are equally so, but you conveniently didn't mention that. Being a replacement doesn't clear you from the same suposed suspicion you're throwing at me. |
