Should any player gain a majority of the votes, or half majority at deadline, a fancily knotted rope will be placed around his or her neck, and then the player will be suddenly dropped off of the platform he or she had been standing on, providing enough force to break the spinal cord somewhere within the seven cervical vertebrae -- like putting too much tension on a string.

THE RULES - Stolen, as always, from DP

1. Have fun and don't be a jerk. Please have consideration for the other players and the mod, and actually PLAY the game by posting and voting.
   
2. No communication outside the thread unless your role allows you to do so and then only in the game's nights.
   
3. Get your choices in before the deadlines. If not, a random choice will be made for the first night, and no choice for subsequent nights.
   
4. No quoting my or others emails/PMs.
   
5. If you're dead YOU'RE DEAD. No more posting relevant information after that.
   
6. Lynching will be carried out once a regular majority is reached - and cannot be undone by unvoting. If I impose a day deadline, lynching will require at least half of the regular majority. In case of a tie, first come first served. In the endgame (six players or less) only lynches with a regular majority will occur.
   
7. Only votes in BOLD will be counted. Please clearly unvote if you want to change your vote.
   
8. Do NOT edit or delete your posts! If you made a coding error, just post again.
   
9. Do NOT post in invisible text.
   
10. You are not allowed to quote or paraphrase your winning condition, unless you want to risk a modslaying.
    
11. It is risky to lynch someone based on spelling errors in their role name. I have been known to make some in the set-up of my games.
    
12. The mod is always right. Accept the decisions, and if you want to discuss them, take it to email, or do so after the game has finished.

As day dawns in space (whee, science doesn't matter!), everyone heads to 10-forward. There they find young Wesley Crusher leaning over the bar.

"Isn't it a bit early, and he a bit young, for a hangover?" asks someone.

He isn't answered, though, as someone else has discovered the pool of blood below Wesley's chair. It seems he had been stabbed some time during the night, and is now dead.

Wesley, being an over-eager child who wanted to prove himself, often tried too hard. As such, he would have been very emphatic about his vote, and would not have changed it once it was cast.

Chuck is dead for he was Wesley.

If I were going to argue to no perpose and vote someone based on imaginary evidence, I would vote for babydemon. Purely as an OMGUS. But I'm not, so I won't.

As to whether my reluctance to vote is part of my role, you'll just have to wonder.

Apologies for the double post; hopefully the nearly twelve-hour span between the two makes it forgivable.

Just wanted to point out that neither Leonidas nor olio has posted in this thread at all yet. olio's last post anywhere on the GL was the "/in" post for this game, almost a week ago. What's the usual length of time that needs to pass before mod prods start?

Leonidas, on the other hand, has posted five times since the game began, including two posts in Mafia Games. Either he's lurking, forgetful, or has a role that severely limits his posting abilities (I wouldn't put it past Courk to do something like that ).
