Welcome to Deep South, The antarctic base for Scientists. As you all know some of the scientists among you are corrupt and have been paid to kill you off and ruin the antarctic research on Global Warming.
You however being in an area of the world not governed by any particular laws, can start killing off the would be killers - or anyone you suspect to be a killer.
There are 10 players alive. The following list, sorted by occupational title, are the scientists and crew that keep the place ticking.
Courk - Research Scientist
Annoying PestSineish - Research Scientist
Lauritz Melchior - Research Scientist/ Scholarship student
There are 3 basic groups that all players fit into.
There are 5 Research Scientists, although 1 of them is a Student on a university funded educational trip.
There are 8 Specialists. Their titles do not necessarily reflect any particular skill

The game will start when I make the announcement of the first choice block. The town will then be free to lynch. At the end of 7 days - the next choiceblock will begin. If someone is lynched, then the next choiceblock will begin when I post the lynch scene. Choices are always read in the order in my PM box and actioned that way. Lynch votes are read second.
During a choiceblock, you may send me 1 choice at any time. The delay in your choice being sent and my activating it is to be considered the planning time (eg a killer sends a message wanting a kill, and that person dies 24 hours later - it can be said the killer had been planning carefully).

Mr Stoofer - Building Manager - Vigilante, Strangled by IS (eyes glazed).
IS - Research Scientist - Mason, Shot Dead
Mgm - Antarctic (Survival) Specialist - Town, Ran outside to escape attacker - got locked out.
esme mgm - Medical Doctor - Mafia Doctor - Blown up on a landmined post
Mackay - Supplies Manager - Lynch Protecting Cop - Blown up by the intercom
Intercom - Moderator Controlled - Blown up by a landmine. Choices involving Intercom wont be announced anymore.
BabyDemon - Scientific Communications Specialist - Blown up by a landmind. Could send info to the town that would help make Samadhis information more useful.
Pooky - Antarctic Zoology Specialist - Serial Killer - Lynched by the town
Save The Dragons - Research Scientist/Mathematics Specialist - Lie Detector and Mason - Shot dead

Choice Block 1
Now Active.
There are 18 alive, and it is 10 to lynch.
Notes:
1. Jedo and Ctorj are still away for a few days.
2. If someone dies, the vote count required will reduce.
3. If someone dies, their cast vote at death will remain.
4. Block closes if a) Someone is lynched or b) 7 Physical days as of this moment passes.
5. You may send choices at any time during the next 7 days.
6. No extensions of choice blocks.
7. Votes after a choice block ends are reset to blank. This rule will be lifted if it proves too difficult/repressive on players.
8. The Intercom account is controlled by me, and is in reaction to player roles only. |

In the above example, players choices or roles caused the two intercom messages. (May have been automatic choices enforced by role)
Their meaning is unknown except to those that caused them. The players who have been messaged may or may not have PMs giving them information. If those players do not have messages, they will need to carry on playing unawares.
There are several players who will trigger the Intercom. I will be trying to make it difficult to determine patterns or links between the posts.

I'm trying to decide between voting IS and Pooky. On the one haand IS's playing style really pisses me off in general. I would very much like not to have to put up with it. On the other hand there's nothing really suspicious about a day 1 random vote. There is something mildly suspicious in Pooky's instantaneous bandwagoning though. Vote Pooky |

Hehe, see I'm not very eager to lynch Veggieboy at all, I'm eager to do something big and flashy so that the town wakes up and starts posting and bandwagonning right away instead of waiting a few days to see what happens and THEN posting.
Day1 is always a challenge in a predeadlined game for the town to get a lynch in and that's the sorta thing I wanted to alleviate with random suspicious bandwagonning.
Bloody hell, the cops are investigating during the DAY the vigilantes are shooting during the DAY and you think a BG is going to a come out the way I did?
Scum are going to be hiding in the shadows and trying to bandwagon on the whimsiest of conditions like they always do. |

Maybe its a English as a second language reading comprehension, but Pooky is drawing way too much attention to himself in a game where cops have an insta-investigate ability and vigilantes have a noose on every one of us which they can spring upon us at a whim.
Meanwhile, veggieboy is just skulking away letting Pooky take all the heat. In this type of game, the quiet ones definitely need to die, even more so than in regular games.

If I didn't pull the junk I did, this is what the first choice block would look like.
First Day:
Random voting, IS calls for people to lynch some1, no1 listens to him.
2nd Day:
More random voting, some banter, some joke about occupation
Third Day: Some more random voting, maybe some1 pops out something of logic.
4th Day: realize we're halfway through choiceblock, maybe small bandwagon forms
5th Day: Bandwagon forms in order to get information,
6th Day: prod bandwagoned player for roleclaim
7th Day: bandwagoneed roleplayer claims doctor/cop, too late to really change votes, mafia makes kill, serial killer makes kill, doc/cop gets lynched due to lack of time
8th Day: random griping from noncontributing townsfolk to how shitty the last choiceblock turned out yada yada. |
