The best piece of evidence thus far is Jedo/RM with really awful logic and Mithy coming to bat for it.

We'll see how the rest of the day plays out.

Actually, my post was breaking the groups into "playing at least as long as rm" and "came by since rm". For example, I know that CF, sweetwater, mith, and Sooth were all in Mafia 38 (my first game); I know that L'layne had been in Neighborhood mafia, IS was in Star Wars, and I'm pretty sure Quail was in Discworld. I don't remember exactly when Sama took a break from mafia, so I can't say who would have played against him.

Oddly, whether you were killed by the mafia or the town in that game seems to have an unusually high correlation with whether you've left the GL or not.

Well, we've got "Poochi on the Park" open. and invited the drinks stall to set up next to us. In the uk, the liquor laws are strange, and you can have a restaurant with no licence to sell liquor, but permission to allow people to carry in their own. Seems a good arrangement.

On the menu: marrowbone pizza, dried meat pizza, whole tuna suchi (a thin layer of rice on a whole tuna) and one or two particularly delectable canine treats. LocoLobo is cheerful again and losing weight rapidly running around waiting table. AhoInu spends most of her time bowing to the customers. Anyway it's time you all dropped in. Usual deal, 2 per.

Rolls dice again, just to check: 2 2

(2|3)x6+2 = 13 (ignore 1 nd 5) = No.16.

Unvote Shintarusan, Vote: ralphmerridew

Looking at the posts so far, there doesn't seem anything at all yet. I'd support mith with his remarks about "to be honest" or "to be fair", it is a limey thing to do. Glad to see we're converting him to the true faith Revenge most foul!

If you're voting Talitha "to give Shanterusan company", why are you still consulting your die (and why is it 12-sided).

You've already picked Talitha for a reason, but you're disguising your vote as random.

"thionk"? You're just making it too easy, now...

Anyway, whether or not you would think (=know) you're scum is not really relevant to what I was getting at; evidence doesn't necessarily equate to scumminess anyway. What didn't sit well with me is the way you phrased it. I didn't "come to bat" for Crap Logic (tm), I jumped into the fray because you focused on rm more than Jedo, and still haven't satisfactorily explained why.

~shrug~ Your posts thus far, both what you've said and how you've said it, lead me to the conclusion that you're scum. I believe this is the first game I've played with you, and so I may be way off in my read of you, but it'll do for a first approximation. Plenty of time to make adjustments.

But I'd still like to know out of curiosity how a 12 sided dice helped you choose between 3 people?

12 divided by 3 =4.
1 2 3 4=A
5 6 7 8=b
9 10 11 12=c

Roll the dice (from your D&D collection of dice)
and let the random no. decide.

I could have used a 6-sided dice, but there are so few uses for a 12-sided dice and it was feeling neglected.

Is that random enough?

That's not exactly inspiring. I came back expecting a defense, at least - not an insult to the town's intelligence.

If you're going to refuse to claim and act in such a manner as to hasten your demise, you are not worth keeping around anyway.

PS: Right, first game. Everyone else here (or at least, the vast majority) know how I play.

I really don't want to get loud and angry (as I did in Witches - Day 1), mainly because I was pushing the buttons of the scum. I also don't lay low. Instead, I post what's on my mind.

The reason why I focused on RM over Jedo, Mith?

RM is much better than that.

PS: FoS: MGM, who agreed with my point to only unvote and vote me.

Seems like MGM is BANDWAGON hopping.... not like anyone else is listening.

What do you want me to defend? I make points, pointing out seriously bad logic, and I get blasted. You, like everyone else, if following the scum. Good idea?

I have done nothing of scum merit. If you want to spin something on me, go ahead.

Again, Mackay, I know that YOU are better than this. Look back at my posts.

-Jedo and RM make comments. Jedo, IMHO (sorry Jedo!), makes some ill-advised and... well.. just bad posts. But then, to watch RM back it up in some way set alarm bells in my head.

RM? Faulty logic? IT DOESNT NORMALLY HAPPEN!

So, instead of looking at RM, who normally has flawless logic, we instead look at the person who brought it to surface.

(sigh)

Confused Tell me how the above post agreed with you in any way. I say there's no sense in attacking rm and you want him lynched. Seems like those points are radically different. In my eyes, anway.

And accusing me of bandwagon hopping is utter nonsense. There was no bandwagon to speak of when I voted you. I was the second to vote you (only mith was earlier) and before that I stuck with my random Chienfou vote.

I find it hard to jump non-existent bandwagons, so if you have any tips on how to do it, I'm all ears. You seem to be an expert on it.[/b]

Along with some of the other quotes already mentioned, we were struck by:

Quote:

As of right now, pick ANY 5 players in the list, and you have a scary mafia group.

Why the number 5? In a 20 person mafia we would tend to think of there being 4 mafia. 4 of the best players being chosen as mafia can be scary. 5 is extremly dangerous
