I hope this is a joke. What Leo said, fitted perfectly with the introduction. It is of course perfectly possible that both old and new mafia will turn up as mafia after death or that the old mafia have their own plans after the new mafia is eliminated. But I see definitely no reason to rejoice.
Therefore, FOS: Samadhi
And now a BIG FOS for the player who put the lynching vote on Leo, then retracted it and then accused a player who pointed this out of trying to kill the doctor.
Therefore, BIG FOS: LML.
I have to reread before taking further steps. |

Are you incurably stupid? Why is 3 mafia dead with only two vanila townies down not a good thing? _________________ And he lived happily ever after. Except for the dieing at the end and the heartbreak in between. |

I am not sure if I can help you if your reading comprehension is so poor, but I will try to spell it out for you:
The dead mafia might be at least partially our non-vanilla townies. |

And I'd say my statement of "unless something weird is going on" covers the possibility as described by Leo.

And yes, I tried to unvote. I didn't put the LYNCHING vote on, I put the 3rd. How about backtracking?
And, since your new, I'll spell this out now...
It's generally NOT a good idea to kill a claimed doc.
I'm done.

Since I am new I check everything I say twice, but noone else can seem bothered to check. Two of the remaining self-proclaimed mason-doctors claim after one of them is lynched so that the other one can be night-killed, one player can't be bothered to read posts with boldened "extremely important message" in them and another player can't check that he put the lynching vote.
Pointing this out gets me incurably-stupid and since-you-are-new-let-me-insinuate-you- are-stupid. I would think it fair if in the future some of the experienced players would point out this stuff. |

I almost agree with your analysis. But TCM's claim of Mason-hood amongst this "squad" seems to conflict with Leonidas' response on a number of points. TCM claimed to know the identities of the 5 squad that we started with. Leonidas claimed TCM was a replacement, and that there are only 4 on the squad. TCM claimed masonhood, Leonidas was surprised to learn TCM was among them. I leave it as a matter of interpretation whether these indicate one confused player, or a systematic failure of Scum to get their story straight.
What I *will* point out is that there's clearly two different attacks each night, and that this game is advertized as "only townies, mafia, docs, and cops" (specifically, no serial killers). |

Yes, there are some problems. I tend to believe the masonhood because TCM was modkilled and then readmitted. I am not sure about the second night-kill. It is very likely done by the squad.
One interesting thing is that the mysterious fifth squad member did not protect TCM. And if you think of four or five doctors not protecting IS on night 1, it is quite likely that the squad couldn't protect each other. You would need them to know each others name for this to work. |

Sycko's got a point. I think it was explained that now there's only one "good" mafia left (now that IS, Leondias, and TCM are gone, plus one lost before the game). So, we shouldn't be too worried to lynch any suspicious person. The mafia are probably going to claim to be "good" mafia now..., but now we know (the hard way) that they all can't be good.
That is, if Leondias and TCM's story rings true.
I can't imagine that the "good" mafia are all doctors. Wouldn't the mafia's choices be constantly blocked from all that protection? Unless the mafia has more than one night kill, which I doubt. There's two night kills, though, and unless the mafia does kill twice, the squad should have some killing powers, (if there's no SK/vigilante).
It's just confusing. |

I'm sorry, for some reason I thought this game was still in Night.
Alright, well, if there are two mafias, then we haven't killed a single goon? Persona, do you disagree with the two mafias in general? Like there may be a squad, but they don't show up as mafia, and none of them have died yet? As for Leo and TCM and their conflicting stories, Leo implied that two of the unconfirmed players were part of the squad. He might have missed the whole "TCM is back in the game" thing and was referring to TCM and the other alleged unconfirmed squad member. But then, he didn't mention IS... it seems we would have to have two mafias though, as the rules did limit the roles. Unless the squad doesn't know each other. Then they wouldn't have to be mafia or masons (impossible with the restricted roles) or anything of the sort.
Also, I don't think anyone pointed it out, but I'm sure you all saw that IS and TCM were both shot, so is it assumed they were both killed by the same group/person?
Now, as for the second night kill, is there a cop or even a doc variant that can kill people at night? I haven't seen one yet in the short time I've been around. Just curious. It was more likely done by the mafia squad, methinks.
Oh, and the note at the beginning was from the squad telling the Mayor that he is safe as long as the squad is around, right? So maybe the last member of this squad is not very versatile and being the only one left, is basically forced to protect the Mayor person each night? Just another thought.
As for suspicions, I don't really have any right now... maybe LML. Why are you still voting esme? I think it was made pretty clear that you were the one who killed Leo, no? Hmm... |

Sorry to multi post....but:
Internet Stranger (mafia) - shot night 1
Mgm (townie) - strangled night 1
Leonidas (mafia) - fried day 1
The Cheshire Man (mafia) - shot night 2
Jedo the Jedi (townie) - strangled night 2
It seems to me that we probably have two competing mafias. |

Leo claimed after he was lynched, which coincidentally is also after I voted for him.
After that, certain players tried to pretend this happened differently.
So either you are stupid, lazy or you are mafia. This game doesn't work if I can't assume a minimum of thought and attetntion on part of the other players, so I have to assume that LML and Samadhi are both very likely mafia. |

| I'll sit on my lurker vote, though there's many many to choose from today I think. Between the lynch that the mod missed, and the possible redefinition of whether lynching mafia is good or bad, I still prefer to base my vote on something unquestionable, like silence. |

The mayor twiddles his thumbs.
Well?
The dust rolled silently along the cobblestone streets below. The anxiety rushed through his skin, and all he could do was retire for the night.
It is now night. Send night choices by Sunday, June 12 at 9:00 PM PST. |

Day breaks with red skies topping the red underneath. Two bodies laid upon the cobblestone streets. First was the body of esme, shot all over the legs and the arms and bearing only one fatal wound through the heart. Next was the body of UnheardVoice, repediatedly drugged then strangled. Both were townies.
'Tis day 3. 8 alive, 5 to lynch. Sunset at Monday 20 10:00 PST. |

I definitely don't trust that Captain Planet guy, but it's probably just because he just pops in and does his random planeteers thing. I think it's pretty hard to get a read on somebody like that, so I don't know if he's worth lynching.
Then I still have some suspicion of LML with regards to esme, but not so much that I think he's worth a vote at the moment.
