Honestly, Persona, why would I have killed Samadhi if I were scum? Answer: There is NO reason at all. He was dead set for voting you, and if I would have killed Ctorj, I would have coasted to a victory.
The answer is, of course, that I'm not scum, and you're results are absolutely screwy. Sorry about that. I realize that my cop play has been scummy, but at the same token, it's rough for me to figure out what's going on when all I get are innocents.
But think about the kill... If I were scum, in a million years, I wouldn't have killed Samadhi.
That means, someone else did, and I'm willing to bet it's the false claiming doctor.

Persona, this is the only fact that matters. Someone killed that night. If you look at the top of the post, it says July 26. I did not join until I posted to mudbuck on August 1 for a replacement. So who did the killing? LML conveniently never addresses this. All LML is doing is trying to use the mafia/notfia labels to his advantage. You agreed that this was fishy as well!

He NEVER addresses the kill in his response. He even uses Sycko's old posts against me. Like I know what Sycko was thinking when he posted that. The choice is very obvious. LoudmouthLee is scum.

Don't be fooled.I'll just thow some more info here.
Ctorj claimed "Townie-Doc". Well, here's a few ideas.. just in case you're thinking in a different direction.
-If no night choice is sent in, especially from the mafia, a random choice is sometimes made (and is usually the worst possible choice a-la the mod)
-What Ctorj is claiming is that he's a Townie-Doc. He made a mistake, and he's trying to get away with it. He's just referencing one kill, that could have been a random kill assigned by the mod!
Ultimately, the choice is yours, Persona. Strength of Arguement here is important.

I'm just giving what Mods (like DP and the such) do. There are other possibilities, too!

Doesn't this time frame coincide with Sycko / Ctorj?

A few observations for both of you.
1) I've not played in many mafia, and certainly never gotten this late in the game, where mafia losing interest is a real possibility. Ctorj, how many games have you played in, without having seen an acknowledged random mod Mafia kill?
2) I'll be checking in again sometime tomorrow, probably. You two seem to be doing a good job of cross-examining when I'm not around to check up on you, so I'll let that continue with a nice organic discussion. Oh, and I've decided to become a corrupt cop, so bribes are certainly accepted! |

1) I don't know the number, but I know I'm in a lot of games currently. I've never been in one with a random mod kill. I lean against that because the mod did abandon the game after the kill seeing as no one was playing. It's a possibility, but I think even you know that it is a small possibility. However, it is a higher possibility that LML did the kill and is now saying that a mod did the kill.
2) Please expound further on the corrupt cop thing. Is it a joke or are you serious? I didn't know you had that option.

And it's basically a joke, yes. I'm on a working vacation, too relaxed to do such dutiful town things as re-read the thread or spend much time thinking about this.

This has felt like a fairly capricious game. Lynches have been denied and reinstated. Mafia weren't supposed to be killed. Abandonment notices have been stated and denied. So, as much as I appreciate the drama over the last day, I'll vote capriciously as well.
Basically, I think I'd rather see LmL in a solo win than to share the win with ultimately Johnny-come-lately Ctorj. LmL came back to the game, and I think he deserves the win just for helping to keep it alive. If I get to share it, all the better. I'm sorry that my first Mafia endgame came during a vacation, where I couldn't give it the effort it deserved. Thank you all.

The salty air once again wrapped around Mayor M. Buck. He shivered with sudden distaste. What is it now? he thought impatiently as he watched the window at the cold, grey world that laid outside. Ctorj was being executed. Is it over? Is it finally over, when almost everyone had sacrificed their lives for me?
Buck sat down at his desk, now more focused than ever on his paperwork. Tourism was dead zero, and the town's economy couldn't be even more in the slumps. He didn't know that it all wouldn't matter soon after deafening footsteps in the hallway grew louder and closer.
Persona crashed through the door, out of breath, but still with all her might running toward the mayor's desk. "Mayor!" she panted, "You can't believe this, but LoudmouthLee! He's..."
Then at the next moment there was a loud gunshot that rang across the room, and she collasped onto his desk. Behind her was a man, obviously someone he had known.
"Mister Coolage!"
It was definately Robert E. Coolage. He had a sinister smile across the face that was once LoudmouthLee's.
Buck scowled. "I had discharged you many years ago! Why have you ever returned?"
He approached casually. "Revenge is sweet, isn't it. And now that there is no one to stop me, it is only sweeter."
The last words Buck said was "You sadist."

Ending notes:
The two people who didn't confirm in the beginning of the game were a Quack and a Mafia. The two quacks knew each other. Obviously, the game would have been done much quicker if Jadesmar had ever confirmed.
When the last mafia was lynched and I told everyone that the town still had a chance, I did this on the basis that Sycko, the Quack, wasn't responding. This soon changed when the town demanded a replacement.
During the final day with Ctorj (Quack), LML (Bad Cop), and Persona (Good Cop), Ctorj would had won if LML was lynched, LML would win if Ctorj was lynched, and Persona would have won if there was no lynch and the two antagonists targeted each other the following night.
