I am Sir Nicholas De Mimsy-Porpington, also known as Nearly Headless Nick, and resident ghost of Gryffindor House. And no, I have no special abilities.

I don't know what to think of STD's claim, as I have no idea who Professor Sprout is. I thought it was the mandragora (sp?) person, but that's TCM, right? At the same time, I don't recall who Gregory Goyle or Professor Trelawney are.

Also, since it seems the consensus is that I am scum, I don't think there's really anything I can say to convince you otherwise. And since I don't have any special abilities, my death would not be all too unbearable for the town, and I would understand if you felt it was your best play to lynch me.

Professor Sprout grew the Mandrakes, but she worked together with Madame Pomfrey to make them into a potion and administer it to the petrification victims.

Personally, I find both claims dubious, so I'll stick with my StD vote for now.

Out of all the claims now, I too agree that Professor Sprout and Nearly Headless Nick seem the least likely. So I'll vote: Save The Dragons today, and if I'm alive tomorrow, It will be Hagfy.

Well then I'm curious... within the scope of things, how is Pomfrey that much more believable than Sprout?

And I'll agree that, from what I saw (the movies), Nick didn't play a big role, but what can I say? That's what I got to work with.

And zorT, your role would be more like potential mason, right?

Pomfrey really isn't that much more of a character than Sprout.

But when TCM claimed, he had almost no information about what roles were in the game - and the fact that he dared to claim any kind of major role at all adds credibility.

Additionally, one would expect to see a full-time doctor in this game, and Pomfrey's logically the most likely character flavor-wise.

Yep, that's why I believe TCM. Having Madam Pomfrey as a doc is the best option flavorwise IMO.

well I believe it is strange that Nearly headless nick would be in it and not the bloody baron or any other ghosts. I also don't belive professor sprout has that much of a role in the book/movies. Madam pomfrey sure has a good role being the only doctor at hogwarts and als always mentioned becuase it seems everyone always ends up in the hospital wing. Right now I will:

By killing the last member of the Death Eater Mafia, the town ensured its own loss. Had they gone after dybeck, they would have lynched Cornelius Fudge, GF of the Ministry Mafia, and then could have hoped that Lucresia (Bartemius Crouch, member of the Ministry Mafia) and Hagfy would target each other.

Mgm was Gregory Goyle, townie, and TCM was Madam Pompfrey, doctor.

I don't have many notes, but I'll share what I do have.

Dmi/big_kahunia (Mad-Eye Moody) was the vigilante and had attacked cballs, which explains the "cursed differently"

Last night TCM protected Mgm, giving the town one last glimmer of hope.

Death Eaters killed with a snake (I think Voldemort's snake)
The Ministry Mafia killed with Avada Kedavra, although last night they wanted to kill Mgm with (warning, Book 6 info)sectumsempra. I was debating whether to allow it or not, but I never had to make a final decision.

I found the info I had on roles to be amusing. I was originally told that Mad-Eye Moody was a townie. It was only when I replaced Dmi that I found out the truth. Hermione was also labelled as a townie. I didn't find out that she was a potential mason until ZK claimed it, which was why I asked for all of your role PMs.

Finally, Hagfy had asked me at one point if I thought it would be OK for him to claim Hermione, mason since he had knowledge that she wasn't in the group. I said since he was allowed to be back in the game, he could do whatever he wanted.

Maybe Jedo will have some more interesting tidbits for you.

Well, go other scum! The town played it pretty well. However, had you given me a chance to say something, I would have informed you that there was another killing group still alive, likely with two members... oh well.

And I just wanted to throw out there that this was my first time as scum, and I couldn't come up with anything good to claim. I wanted to do Hermione first, as I figured that would be the most believable, then I thought Hagrid, but I had nothing else after they both got claimed. Out of curiousity, what would have been a believable claim?

I don't know who Luna is, but I did consider Neville. I didn't think he was a major player though. I considered other Weasleys too, would any of them have been more believable?

I was trying to decide who the other group was, but I couldn't figure it out. The only people I thought were pro-town were zorT and TCM, so I killed zorT, hoping to try to get the town that was left to realize I wasn't the biggest threat the next day, but somehow I missed the 4-5 hours it took to off me.

Lucresia, you were believable to me since we mostly seemed to be going off claims, and I felt Hagrid was about as believable as you could get. I agree it's weird he wasn't in the game.

This was my first ever mafia game and I won!!! I know some of you are going to say that the fact that I died night 1 means that I can't take all the credit myself, but still...
