The guide explains that dolphins are NOT in the game. They have long considered mafia to be as shameful as cricket, representing the Krikkit Wars. Similarly, mafia represents the Maphia Wars, where the inhabitants of Maphia were brutally murdered each night, and unhonorably lynched each day. Eventually, there was so much mess that the survivors spent the rest of their lives cleaning it up. Luckly, Maphia is widely unknown, so mafia is widely accepted all around the galaxy, except for those Flying Men from ¯¯Poyrantiasiam. Those guys are jerks.

GAME RULES (pilfered, paraphrased, published)

001. Be considerate of others. The person you annoy might as well be a Vogon.

002. Communication during night is prohibited, unless if your role is mason or mafia. You're advised to take out any babblefish during night periods.

003. Deadlines are there for a reason. Your powers: Abuse it or lose it.

004. No quoting my or others' private messages or you'll be at the wrong end of a kill-o-zap. Well, okay. There are exceptions...

005. Corpses cannot speak, and dead people in that matter.

006. A Lynch is qualified as a majority vote, unless if I impose a deadline, then lynch is the majority of the majority. If no lynch is wanted, then vote for no lynch.

007. I'll do the best I can to count votes, so it really helps to bold votes.

008. No editting nor deleting posts! If you made an error, just post again.

009. Invisible text is prohibited.

010. Please notify of any long absenses beforehand. Long constitutes as more than 72 hours.

011. Replacements are allowed only if you act if you dodn't know anything about your previous roles.

012. I am right. Accept all decisions I make.

013. You may ask me personal questions via IM/PM/e-mail.

To clarify, masons and mafia can talk to each other.

Also, every single role message has a typo. "You goal is for".

"Resistance is Useless!" Coron shouted as the other Vogons walked by. The captain looked strangely at him, then finally lied, "Nice shouting there, lad. Keep up the work."

"Resistance is Useless!" Coron yelled at a earsplitting volume.

The captain walked away in annoyance. With a crooked smile, Coron thought to how impressed the captain was. Oh, he knew he's going to be promoted to a janitor someday.

Then another being dressed in trim white came marching up. Coron cleared his throat then proclaimed, "Resistance is..."

*bat* *bat* *bat* *bat* *bat* *bat* *bat* *bat* *bat*

Leaving Coron in a puddle of blood-like sludge, the Krikkit bot silently strolled away. Well, Coron was hoping that he could retire soon, anyway.

Coron, Vogon Guard, is deceased.

------

The Hitchhiker's Guide comes up with the following entry for Coron:

Name: Vogon Guard

Occupation: *mafia grunt

Guide Entry: Vogon Guards are one of the most lowly forms of life. Most of them take up the job because their aunts told them so. Though they are easily persuaded, they are impossible to motivate, so it's futile tricking one to not throw you into the airlock of a Vogon ship.

------

'Tis Day 1. 10 to lynch.

Kagredon (1) - Porro
Samadhi (3) - predetermined, referee

Rules for Finding Mafia

1. The first player to congratulate the doctor is scum or doctor (+20, +10)

In that case...

Vote: Porro

I overlooked the explanation in the vote-count. I just finished a game on scum where one player had two votes if he said "2 votes: so-and-so". I thought maybe it was a given that referee's vote counted three, but now I see that perhaps someone else is able to anonymously place two votes on someone overnight. And referee has nothing to do with it. Hmmm...
