On MGM's claim:
1) I have believed since the beginning that the bachlorette would be a role.
2) Mgm says that Logain investigated crackerjack twice, both before the replacement. (It's possible that Logain simply forgot who he'd investigated (unlikely) or was rechecking now that the recruiter was dead.)
3) 3.5 information roles seems a bit much for a game of this size. (Though Courk was generous in Clue Mafia.) |

Not quite, Logain checked crackerjack night 1 and you the night he died. That's one before and one after replacement. How come you, of all people, don't see this? You are the one replacing him. |

Holy Crap!, Mgm. I trust you more than anyone else at the moment. Your claim seems valid, your results (the ones I can tell) seem valid.
I remember people thinking there was a bachelorette to begin with. Why...? Because there was a bachelorette in the .gif at the beginning of the game, and in the introduction.
However, there is no mention of a host whatsoever. Not even a hint that one might exist. DP still registers high on my scum-o-meter, and now he comes out with a claim that is 'important', but in no way provable. I don't like it. My vote is staying on MattV, I am pretty convinced mattv is scum. But a good old-fashioned Courk-esque IGMEOY goes to DP. |

I honestly thought that he was using <s> and </s> to denote suspicion. That was the main source of my lack of confidence; it basically he lied directly.
I am not convince yet that his role is good for the town though. Seems it could logically go either way.

Is there anything about my being suspicious to highlight for explaination? |

Suggesting killing off jadesmar? Claiming you were doing it to stir up the town only? Resisting with all your might the claiming of numbers? Which you still haven't done? Voting Mgm "with confidence" upon finding out that he allegedly had cop results? Claiming that once again you were "irking" the town for results?
It almost looks like you are covering for DP. |

I'd better explain that. The scumminess/suicidalness of your posts seems to be directly proportional to the amount of suspicion that is on DP at the time. If I thought the two of you were in it together, which I do, I'd be inclined to believe you were covering for him. Or at least trying to take off the heat.
Or maybe you're just suicidal today. I am only too happy to oblige a suicidal scum. Confirm vote: MattV |

My suggestion to kill jadesmar "just because" has been taken to exterms. Note that even I didn't seriously consider acting on it.
Yes, I have tried to stir up the town. Look at my vote for DP yesterday (I think this is one case) and my prod of Mgm (first time) for examples.
I would continue resisting with all my might to not claim a number, but I will do so anyways.
IF you read the <s> tags as I did, everything I said about him makes sense. Did I really say I was just trying to arrose the town this last time? (Very likely, but I can't remembering doing so without reviewing).
An interesting point is that two people haven't jumped onto either bandwagon. Such an action means that the mafia are likely voting at this moment.
I would like to flag Mackay's attack on me as being somewhat scummy. Do other people see such things? She is my #1 choice right now.

Well, if I wanted to make up something, I could claim a safe number. Granted that it is not a given that this role must be in the game, but given the set-up, it is likely. As such, claiming it in this phase (without someone pushing me for it) would be pretty ballsy (and rather stupid) if it were not true.
MatthewV still scores highest, but Mackay is not far behind. Their mutual attacks could well be mafia supporting mafia.

Given the set-up? Apparently you know more than I do, DP.
What does the host DO? Or did you tell us already, and I forgot?
In any case, it's unlikely that there are two special roles, plus a doctor remaining. The only person who convinces me is Mgm, though it's probably dangerous to vote off MattV if he's claiming doc...
sadly, the thing that keeps me voting for him right now is the fact that I'm edgy about DP's allegiation that we're supporting each other. Plus I still reckon he's scum. |

And investigator Logain wasn't protected the night he died. So, I don't think there's any docs left. If there were, Logain would've been with us now. |

Yes, I am #21 a doctor. I have asked and I cannot save myself. Thus tonight it seems likely I will die.
I am sorry I let Logain die after he was saved once. (I became a replacement after he was saved.) I didn't believe they would target him after missing one shot.

Yes, well I didn't claim to be another special role in a game nearing its end. I saw the number pattern in the doubling also, but can't believe that number 63 would be there also, if that were the case.

night 1...IS
night 2...Mgm
night 3...Porro
night 4...Logain (no death!)
<MatthewV takes over>
night 5...Neo
night 6...Mackay
Right...night 5 was Neo. The mindset was that IF the cult could kill at night they would do so. AND that it appears he has some sort of extra infomation, making him a choice for the mafia also. AND that losing another kill on Logain would be foolish.
Night 6 I though Mackay would die. She made some comments about people I also felt were evil at the time. Her death seemed logical just to shut her mouth!
Who will be my night 7 choice? Dunno, I usually focus on one little thing that might prompt a kill.
I am not really trying to save myself anymore- death either today or tonight is -very- likely. But I would like to see a night kill wasted on me. |

Matt, I am both suspicious that you claim you chose me to protect (seeing as you are now seemingly convinced I am scum), and faltering a bit at the fact that you admitted it when it was obvious that it would look suspicious. I am encouraged, however, that myself plus three scum voting for you would have you killed, and that a mafia COULD throw on the last vote if they wanted, were you actually innocent.
But you are claiming to have protected Logain... I remain unconvinced by any of your 'proof', and am wondering why you don't know who to protect now that we have a 'bachelorette' claim.... but... you are taking credit for the lack of a night kill. ARGH. |

I already said that I have my own reasons for believing DP to be good.
I've said I have my reasons for believing that the bachlorette is in the game, so I'm inclined to believe Mgm.
Mackay is cleared of being cult or thug by Mgm, so I'm inclined to trust her.
All of them agree that MatthewV is suspicious.
I also think that 3 docs is too much, that any doc who didn't protect Logain would be stupid, and that the "Mgm" slipup is pretty damaging.
Therefore, when all the factors align that well, Vote: MatthewV |

I hate having to do this, but I couldn't go on indefinitely waiting for replacements. Although Jedo and mudbuck have been in the cult, they were just about the only people to volunteer as replacements (besides verbose, but that's only one person). I have decided to let them re-join the game and inform the town that the cult is dead.
Jedo 2 replaces DP.
mudbuck 3 replaces jadesmar, who had previously replaced Nanook.
As day dawns, the bachelors look around.
"Hey, we all seem to be alive!" says one bachelor.
"Are we? Let me count. One, two... Hey, yeah, we are all still alive!" confirms another.
"That's odd, no one died."
"I wouldn't be so sure of that..." says yet another bachelor, peering around the screen. "I don't think the darling bachelorette made it. She was so pretty, too..."
Indeed, she did not make it through the night. The lovely bachelorette Mgm was killed in the night by a single gunshot wound right between her pretty little eyes. She was such a good listener.
'Tis day 7! 5 alive, 3 to lynch! |

The game is really thinning out. At five people and two(?) mafia dead, I conclude there is only one mafia left. The town chance of winning is approximately 47% at only one mafia.

Okay, I just finished reading the thread and might I say...WOW! A lot has gone on in this game. Now, for my assessment on the game.
1. FOS Neo. Nothing too strong, just his lurking.
2. FOS Mackay mostly for her vague suspicion throwing and for this:
| Quote: |
| DP's allegiation that we're (Mackay and Mattv) supporting each other |
when it seems quite clear to me that they were supporting each other. Does anybody else see that?
3. FOS ralphm for saying a claim should be done, but he gets to go last. If you want people to claim, you have to be the first to do it.
That's all I have for now. I just read the thread all in one sitting, so my suspicions may be blown out of proportion, but let me know what you think anyway. |
