Okay, I would like to start working on items from this list starting July 25th (my last final). So, do all the bugs still exist?

The review topic pane, instead of being off by one, has the last post as Post subject 1, the second to last as Post subject 0, and then starts with -1, -2, -3, etc.

Is this message truncated?

Fixed Son of Ghost Post. Please let me know if there are any problems (though frankly, if I fucked it up, there's nothing I can do, but still, tell me)

Courk, I'm very impressed - you've uncovered a genuine bug with the way Mozilla parses CSS. I was able to recreate it even without phpBB. I'll try to work up some fix, but it might be impossible.

Review panel post numbering seems fine now.

I liked your reaction to the other one. "Courk, OMG, you're not totally useless!" Felicitous

I have a question:

"Subscript lines are truncated on Internet Explorer.
Will not be resolved - this is a Mozilla Firefox bug, and not something local to our board or phpBB in general"

So Mozilla is messing up by showing the entire line? It seems odd to me that subscripts wouldn't work on IE -- that's the one browser I'd expect most everything to work on, so long as the program itself was good.

Wow, I made a salad of everything. I'm sorry. The problem with Mozilla is how, if you do a structure like
Code:
[url][somebbtag][/url][/somebbtag]
, the text following is enlarged. This happens most likely because Mozilla interperets </a> as </span> as well, so the tag's </span> ends the "postbody" span class, and the following text is posted without any span class.
The truncated lines I'm still researching.
Note to self: stop development at midnight. If anyone noticed, at some point we had a real "first post hover" -- every poster name could be hovered to see the first post's text from the entire forum. Whoops.

We now have img size tags:
Code:
[img width=xxx height=xxx]IMAGE_URL_HERE[/img]
should do the trick.

Added uppercase and roman numerals list types. As a side effect, tags are now case sensitive, so [QUOTE] won't work, for example. If this is too much hassle, let me know.

The tags for lowercase lists are [list=a] and for uppercase it's [list=A]. I assume that has something to do with it.

Jeep, check out the changelog or bbcode.php, I've documented the change there. If it'll prove to be a problem, I'll tweak the code to only be case-insensitive on parsing a list tag.

no no, I understand why those are case sensitive. I'm wondering why he made them all case sensitive. It should be easy enough to limit the case sensitivity to just the list= tags.

Well, I didn't finish first post preview, so will do that tomorrow. Big list of things to do tomorrow. For the GL, I'll add the first post preview and filter by user. I might make the tags case insensitive again.

This might be related to fixing the post numbers in the review pane, but I'm not sure. It's a bug nonetheless:

In order to link to specific posts, you just need to take the url of the first page and add "&start=X" where X is the post number. First posts are now post #1, so everything's been increased by 1. However, to link to a specific post, you have to use the old numbering. To link to post 85, the url needs to end with "&start=84"

Heh, I've never done it with start... I always link the specific post: like so:
http://www.greylabyrinth.com/discussion/viewtopic.php?p=322092#322092

The post numbering is fixable. I'll see what Antrax has to say about it.

The list is lost when quoted. I'll blame it on case sensitivity.

*points in the direction of the Interact page*

Is there a reason we're luring all the newbies (read: me) to an empty chat room? Do we even have a chat room any more? If not, can we have one so I can seek the comfort of other GLers in realtime (read: avoid doing work by spending more time chatting online)?

Is the "list" part of the list tag case sensitive because of the difference between [list=a] and [list=A]?
