It's been just 3 weeks since the residents of Town X have moved in and already tension is mounting. This evening the one and only adult resident of the town (Bill Cosby) found a typed letter pinned to the door of Town Hall:

We won't stop until we've taken over this town! Expect blood, violence and death! Hail to the Mafia!

Just before he can read the signature he feels a pain shoot through his body. Then total blackness.

A few hours later the 15 remaining residents of the town find Bill Cosby in a pool of his own blood.

He is dead...

They vow to revenge his death and get rid of the evil people that did this to him....

Rules (stolen and edited):

Nights will last about 3 days. Please always send in night choices as fast as possible. I will not hunt you down. You don't choose- you don't get. Simple as that.

If days are lasting to long and/or there is a lack in discussion then I will impose a deadline. If discussion picks up I may extend the deadline. Or if several people email a request to extend the deadline I may or may not do so- depending on how I'm feeling.

Votes must be in bold. If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted.

I prefer you unvote, before casting a new vote (though not mandatory). Please specify who you are unvoting, this helps me in counting the votes and sometimes it helps other players as well.

Lynching will require a simple majority of votes. Once a player has reached the necessary majority, his pleas are useless and any attempts to unvote will be unheeded. When a deadline passes without a majority vote no lynching will be done.

You may vote: no lynch – majority votes of this kind are necessary to end the day without a death.

The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so.

Once your death scene has been posted, you’re dead. Stop typing ANY relavent information.

Don’t quote any messages from me. You are liable to get mod-killed if you do.

Night choices are due by the posted deadline. I will not wait for you – if you do not submit a choice to me I will make a choice for you, which might result you being quite unhappy

If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread. Treat this game as a commitment. Be considerate – don’t leave us hanging.

I should post a vote count, ever so often, maybe every page or every alternate one. Please feel free to request one should you deem it necessary.

If you have any questions, you can email me. Don't ask in the thread. I'll get back to you as soon as possible, and with the best explanation I can give you.

I am always right, but not always accurate. If I've made a mistake, please tell my by email as soon as possible. If you try to notify me in thread, I'll have to to edit your post and you will most likely be mod-killed.

If I'm going to be unavailable for a long period of time, I'll post that information.

Additional rules:
- Night actions are not mandatory, night emails to the mod are
(FOR ALL PLAYERS!).
Money transfers are conducted via the mod at night simultaneous with night choices (if they apply).
- When in doubt email the MOD.
- Messages should be no longer than 10 lines.

Deadline for night choices: Monday 10:00 am GMT
If Andrew Sullivan hasn't replied my queries by then, he will be replaced.
Others who fail to send in a night's choice will have a random one made for night one.
And -trust me- you don't want that.

If you don't want to use your town X dollars for now, a simple message saying 'do nothing' is enough to start day.

Day 1 dawns and all residents of town X gather in town square.
A head count is taken and someone is found missing.
It is soon determined sweetwater is missing.
Everyone rushes to his house. They find sweetwater dead in a pool of blood. An axe sticking out of his body.

A search of his house reveals sweetwater's last will. He wanted his money to be shared equally amongst the townspeople.

But still, money isn't everything and the question remains.
Who killed Bill Cosby and who killed sweetwater?

Sweetwater, also known as MASON Jake Ridchardson and Peter Warren Hatcher from the TV show Fudge is dead.

Everyone inherits from sweetwater.

Tenshi: You have just revealed that you have a role that enables you to get information, presumably that will help the town. You couldn't find any brighter paint for the target on your head if you tried. I don't know if you are a cop who outright investigates people, or a gunsmith who finds out if certain people carry guns (could be cop or mafia), or something else. I'm not sure what to tell you. If you simply know a bad guy you should tell us now. Otherwise, I'd say maybe you should keep it to yourself and hope that a doc protects you. If you know someone to be innocent, keep that to yourself.

BTW, I think Porro is taking you seriously. That's why he's banging his head against the wall. If you have a role that enables you to get information about others, you should always stay laid back on day 1. Even if you are a cop, you might not be a competent one.
