Sorry Porro Wbear:
I feel bad enough without you hitting me on the head.
Should have kept my vote with you Kd. I knew YOU WERE SCUM.
It was against the odds that SweetW would get it right night 1.
I don't know that I would have been swayed.

Sorry Porro, I didn't mean to rub it in. Like I said earlier, I was placing quite an unhealthy amount of importance on this game. (For example, when I found out Werebear was replacing TANS, I'd finally been about to get some sleep.... I lay awake for four hours, fighting back tears, before giving up and coming back to the computer. *laugh*) The rolling around laughing is more sheer joy that I didn't screw it up.
MadMax - don't listen to Porro. Cranky bugger that he is. You were led astray, but it's far from being your fault. As I was gathering information on that last day, it was almost as though I was innocent - I felt that strongly about the connections between TANS and Kd. And then when I remembered Kd's voting of Porro, I was like and my brain was practically screaming "Vote TANSTAAFL!" Hehe. So don't blame yourself, and don't let Porro blame you either. You played a bloody good game.
Raist - I feel this victory is yours, more so even than mine or Kd's. I'm glad you were still reading, because I was trying my best to live up to the fantastic start you gave us. Without your WOO claim, and your willingness to put yourself out there every night, we would have been a helluva lot worse off. Even your death served a purpose... when you couldn't find Werebear at night and ended up dead, we knew something was up. Hence my belief that he was Corleone... I actually neglected to notice that an axe death still happened until DP posted the role. Anyway, Kd and I knew there was *something* up with Werebear right there and then, and didn't want to try to kill him at night again, because we didn't know WHAT had happened to you - we thought maybe WB could protect himself or something - but we were fairly sure he was evil. THANKYOU for that! And - well - thanks for everything. Again. *snogs Raist* |

I had initial doubts about Mackay the Wizard because of her dubious, although plausible ability. After I learned about Damelon's role, however, I assumed that Mackay's role was good, and I was almost certain that Damelon was GF. This was because of the way both Mackay's and Damelon's results were presented to me by DP.
Very good play from the remaining innocents, to be able to have a chance in the end. Bad luck, I suppose, with losing so many innocents in the early going. Still, that doesn't detract from nor diminish the outstanding play of the Monster Mafia. I was especially impressed by Mackay's superb play.
Congrats to Mackay, Green Crayons, Kd, and Raist! Good game, everyone, and thanks DP!

So sweetwater, did you get the ability as well as the role name?
It was bugging me the whole time, because the ability in the original cover story was different from the ability I ended up claiming.
For everyone's information - the original ability I chose as a cover was the one-time ability to prevent someone from being lynched. But as the game went on, I realised I couldn't do that - I'd actually kinda hoped to be outed by sweetwater, so then I could claim that my ability was useless. But that didn't happen - and I'm glad, because (a) it would have made me a target, and (b) there was already a role that could prevent a lynch, as I found out later. Once sweetwater died, I was free to claim any ability I wanted, and I changed my idea for my role claim to being able to protect MYSELF from one lynch - but that would have been useless... the only way it could have been verified was if they tried to lynch me. And aside from the fact that I didn't have the ability, and therefore would just die, if I claimed it it would have been useless, and I also stood the risk of the town going "You can save yourself? Prove it. Vote: Mackay". Which of course was the last thing I wanted. So I finally settled for something less wizardish, but much more believable.
Geez, if you actually DID get the ability, sweetwater, I'm super-glad you weren't around at the end. *grin* |

It was reverse, not prevent, though. Big difference.
An innocent was lynched and you didn't act, but I thought maybe someone blocked you. |

Haha, I remember now.
My excuse was going to be that I was waiting for someone *really* useful. "But now you've gone and revealed my role, so I guess they'll have to stay dead. Thanks a LOT, [insert person with investigative role or pushy townie here]!" |

Yeah. I couldn't BELIEVE it when I read back. Bad luck, HH. The town had a lot of bad luck as far as choices and such went.

| Hmm, bugger. Looking back on the night choices, I should have sent Kd to kill you, HH. I was scared you'd block her, which is why I did the killing. But at the same time I thought it would look horribly suspicious if I did it... because you trusted me, at least at that stage, and I thought it would be horribly obvious that the one who you'd publicly stated your trust of would do the killing, based on the knowledge that you almost definitely wouldn't block them. Luckily nobody picked that up. That was one argument I didn't have an excuse for... at all. |

I think that was the only time I ever got lynched because I didn't kill..
I was so upset about it too, I was lynched for a total BS reason, and just by pure luck you got a mafia..BAH

Jestern, you got lynched because of the combination of my finding you guilty
and HH blocking you(and there being no kill).
Flower very cheery, thanx.
Axe-man was funny. |

| True, but I already had three vortes on me based on just the fact that HH blocked me and there was no kill. If you hadn't investigated me I could've made it... Maybe. |
