How it works:

There will be 9 voting groups of 3 people each to start. All 3 electoral votes for a
group go to person with the majority of popular or normal votes from that group. If
there is no majority, the 3 electoral votes are split evenly based on the popular votes
and distributed. If a person in a group dies, that group keeps the same numebr of
electoral votes, allowing the possibility of one person controlling three votes. If all
people in group die, the number of electoral votes for that group drop to zero. The
person with the most electoral votes at the end of the day (three days RL time) is
lynched. In the event of a tie, noone is lynched. Whew! That's a lot to type.

Democrat: Can alter one person's vote. The alter takes place at the end of the voting round, before i tally them.
Radical: Mason equivilent.

Slight amendment to my proposition; it should be to rename group 8, not group 7. Apologies to TCM and AP for unintentionally attempting to rename their group.

As for the current lag, I propose dethwing choose a deadline, email a reminder to those who haven't moved, and mention that if they don't send a move in by then, then they (get a random move / forfeit their move). Maybe a 24 hour limit?

This game got badly lagged, and we really need to get it started again.

Tyenar, if you support Sam's motion of undoing that rename, i think you have a chance of succeding. And i reckon renaming someone else's group name requires 50%+1 of ALL the players currently in!

ralph, about the majority: That's about the same thoughts i had when >i< proposed my group's name. I even thought the answer to my proposal would be negative, and the third member of my group would decide, based on the arguments presented by the debate. Guess what happened...

No, he doesn't have the right to defend himself. As Sam said, no Lepton gambits. And besides, do the logic of his first three revealing posts: Out of 8, only three are possible, and in all three he must've lied in the first post. The worst case is he's a worst puzzler than >i< am. And third, there's no other visible info to go on.

That alone should be enough reason for a defend-or-get-lynched. And i seem to recall giving two other reasons. The third is a little more important than the second, with days still at 72h RL.

1) why you were wrong about CF and;
2) what makes you so sure you are right about Mith.

I have a feeling, though, that Purgation is just a townie that thinks it is cool to post that he is sure that someone is innocent, when it is just a guess. His play in games I've watched him in has never made much sense.

Incidentally, I'd rather not lynch Purgation. Having three votes would make me a prime Mafia target. But really, enough is enough.
