How to Misread Words

The following clues give you ways that certain related words can be misread. Numbers in parentheses give clue answer lenghts. The numbers in brackets indicate lengths of the real words.

This one shouldn't be too hard! I bolded the second clue because there aren't too mant words that specifically refer to the ghost of an almst-dead person!
