Ready for another 'take over' thread? Hiss and lear: the username is spooner, the password is the first part of the spoonerism, cut down to 13 characters if necessary. Use a spoonerism set in a sentence with blanks. For example:
While _____ing a ______, he told me I couldn't do it, so I ended up ______ing the _____.
(password would be lightingfire)
Of course, good ones would be far more clever (and hopefully more obvious) than that! |

Bah, Spooner2, the best I could come up with is "He was cowering under the shriek when he was showering under the creek", but that just doesn't seem right...

| It's simpler than that. That had 14 letters for the password. Too long. |

In a land where all the bridges are named after screams, a stupid thief who thought the police wouldn't find him under that bridge was caught under the shriek when he was sought under the creek?? Still wouldn't accept one of those as a password.... but here's another one. *grin*
The plumbing is bad in my castle - so before I ____ a ____, I have to ____ a ____.

I knew that one wasn't so hard... this one isn't either, but it amuses me.
"I say, Holmes, instead of searching the building thoroughly, we should be searching the manor staff for the thief!"
"So what you're saying, Watson, is instead of searching every ______ and ______, we should be searching every ______ and ______."

almost 4:20 here in NY state, my quitting time, so I'm going to leave one more just for fun.
"So how was your date with your pal Martha in the Big City?"
"Terrible, I alternated between staring slack-jawed at the buildings, and trying to convince her to go out with me. I ended up falling down an open manhole. When I finally got back out, she told me I was totally inept."
"So you went to NYC to _____ and _____ your _____,
and she said you were a klutz who couldn't _____ and _____ your _____."
*evil grin* I expect the answer here by 8:30am EST.

Touching the surprisingly slow cobra was being eagerly marketed by the over-zealous slick-haired snakecharmer.
"Step right up! For just a dollar you can lay claim to having petted a venomous cobra... C'mon, it's surely a ____ ____ and all you have to do is ____ ____" |
