Name the groups who sang the songs with these lines:

1."There are luxuries we can't afford, but in our house we never get bores, cause we can dance to the radio station that plays in our teeth."

2."Make your money, make it rich. Make it young, make it quick. Make your money on the jukebox, baby. Let's pick up sticks."

After 'The best made ever' topic, I figured you'd get it. The first one, by the way, is Barenaked Ladies'. Give me any line, in any REM song, and I can figure it out. (Okay, maybe not, but I'm pretty good nonetheless.)

No need to tell me, I already knew it was BNL. It's "Light up my Room"... I believe that's the title anyway.

Cool! Another REM fanatic! Just for you...

These are all from REM songs, the question is which ones?

Easy

1) The ocean machine is set to nine, I'll squeeze into Heaven and Valentine. - From Up

2) The rain came down, the rain came down, the rain came down on me. The wind blew strong, the summer's song, fades to memory. - From Reveal

3) Ugly girls know their fate, anybody can get laid. You want a room with a fire escape. I want to tell you how much I hate this. - From Monster

Tough

1) Pull your dress on, and stay real close. Who might leave you where I left off? - From Murmur

2) Everything is beautiful and she is so beautiful. She is so young and old I look at her and I see the beauty of the light of music. - From Green

3) Then we danced the dance till the menace got out She gathered the corners and called it her gown. - From Reckoning

Very Tough

1) I'd like it here if I could leave and see you from a long way away. - From Fables of the Reconstruction

2) It's under, under, under my feet. From New adventures in Hi Fi

3) Things get around to taking place. It’s not a waste of time. The rich got a little poorer. Things get around to taking place. If they’re gonna happen at all. - From Chronic Town ( I really didn't expect anyone to get this)

Hope you like!

[Edited to add album titles]

Oh crud! Believe it or not, I've never heard any of those lines. There's quite a probability that I haven't heard some of the songs. Here are some from songs I know.

1.Nine-inch howl, brave tonight.
2.I never understood, don't **** with me.
3.Your head is there to move you around.
4.Oh my kiss breath turpentine.
5.I'm ready to close the book on NASA in outer space.
6.I wanna turn you on, turn you off, figure it out, I wanna take you on.
7.I'm not your television.
8.Hurrah, we're all free now.
9.If you go a million miles away I'll track you down.
10.I have water, I have rum. Wait for dawn and dawn shall come.
