Status updates on our volunteers. I only offer this to keep everyone informed. There really is no rush. We'll get the whole thing posted whenever everyone is ready.

1) MNOWAX - I have a first draft of the puzzle. I solved the first part after a few tweaks, and I need to go back and test-solve the rest. MNOWAX is also working on a second draft.

2) novice - Puzzle is complete and I've successfully test-solved

3) Elethiomel - Puzzle could be considered complete as-is, but we're going back and forth a bit to finalize.

4) jbvntx - Puzzle is complete and I've successfully test-solved. I sent some minor comments for possible tweaks, but none are essential.

5) LordKinbote - Was delayed by a vacation, but last I heard was he was working on it.

6) Gomez - Was delayed by hospitalization, but also is working on it. Hopes to be done soon.

7) Jack_Ian - Was delayed by St. Paddy's day, but I've seen and solved a draft. He was adding another layer to the puzzle, which I haven't seen yet.

Update:

5 of the puzzles are essentially ready to go. There may be some minor tweaks, but I would consider them all to be in a state where we could launch the puzzle.

The 2 remaining volunteers we're looking to hear from are Lord Kinbote and Gomez. Hopefully the delay is due to the totally awesome puzzles they are working feverishly on.

Thanks for everyone's hard work to this point. I'm looking forward to putting the whole thing out there very soon.

I haven't heard back from LordKinbote recently, but that is the final piece we're waiting on.

Lexprod needed another week to complete a puzzle, so I threw together something I had been working on.

I'll include Lexprod, Scurra and any others who have expressed interest in writing puzzle the next time we do this.

I'll be posting the actual puzzle in a new thread shortly.

although one of the puzzles was written by me, so maybe not.

PS i like how you dressed up mine a bit it makes it more homely puzzle. You can tell it was all work and no play from me!

OK folks, the current GL meta-puzzle is rolling along nicely. We've had a few "learning experiences", but I'm OK with that.

The first thing I learned was that this takes longer than expected. With that in mind, would anyone like to volunteer for the Grey Labyrinth Collaborative Meta-Puzzle 2.0?

I'll wait for volunteers this time around before I make the final puzzle, so I can include all who would like to participate.

I'd like this one to be GLP-quality, with the idea of submitting it as a GLP rather than here in VSP. To that end, I may call the volunteers is as test-solvers, editors, and critics for certain puzzles.

I'm in...but if my puzzle skills aren't up to scratch...I'm very happy to be a proofreader/tester.

At least I know more about what's expected so I might be able to do a good puzzle this time...(probably not quite the standard of some of these we've seen so far...!)

Great. The current idea I have for the meta is 20 puzzles, so there's room for plenty more, of for people to grab more than one. Once I finalize the meta, I'll reach out to a test-solver or two to check my work.
