Been there, done that. The only difference is I had six other teeth pulled at the same time. I can't stress this more...make sure the pharmacy has your meds!

When I had mine out was when I learned that I have a bad reaction to Peroset. Puking your guts out just after having teeth removed is somewhat unpleasant. I went with just ice packs and Tylenol, and I got through it fine.

I was also 10. That may have colored my experience somewhat.

So what is the current Tooth Fairy Yankee exchange rate then?
Myself here in Blighty gives two of your English pounds for a back tooth and one of you English pounds for a front one (Thats the rate applied to my kids, as it were back then) unless you lose two front ones within a week then it was a fiver! |
