The first one on line 2 is Dwayne Johnson or The Rock (and I have to say that I surprised myself by recognising him!)
The penultimate one on line 3 is the logo of the St Louis Blues, an Ice Hockey team.

So I'd guess that "Rock" and "Blues" are the intended words for them. Which would tend to suggest some sort of musical link..?

(As usual, my first thought for an answer led me somewhere totally wrong but which prompted an idea for a different puzzle...)

Basketball: Hornets(?), Magic, Nuggets
a common theme to these is Jazz.
Not sure how the others would fit in.

Barricade, Ratchet, and Jazz are all Transformers characters.

JAZZ is the intended answer. You've got 3 of the 4 groupings correct, but only one group completely correct. Anyone care to finish it out?

So Jazz is looking like a good "missing" answer right now.
