Zag suggested that I create a cryptic pyramid, so here it is. The initial 6 cryptics clue 6 words forming two or more new cryptic clues. The solutions to these clues form a final cryptic clue for the final answer.
1. Cruel Alien
2. Surround you devotedly with levity and wanting
3. Nature's perfume
4. Hydrogen and Uranium bombs misfired - I get wetter and wetter.
5. To and fro; rocking
6. Hands in document

I'm not exactly sure on either of these. Both are double definitions, and just a little tainted because they derive back to the same root, but different enough to work. Or maybe they're wrong and there's something else that I'm missing.
1. Inhuman
3. essence

Correction... 4 is Humidifiers, though it may be intended to be humidifies. H + U + "misfired I" anagram
That gives the first level of the puzzle as ...
Inhuman without essence humidifiers for men
The first half of the second level is
Heartless (inhuman without essence) double definition.

Yes, I think so. That gives the final answer as...
Heartless misters. = MISERS. Possibly hinted by puzzle holiday theme? As in Scrooge?
