ADD is clearly behaviorial disorder/mathematical process
Either Cello or Viola would work for early web browser.
Floor could work for stun/place for trading. |

The answers for As Easy As...ABC are most likely: ...
ADD - Behavioural disorder / Mathematical process (3)
ACE - Playing card / Doctor Who companion (3)
BEG - Nikola Tesla Airport / Tony Todd movie (3)
CHIN - Lucy Liu role / Facial feature (4)
CELLO - Very early web browser / Stringed instrument (5)
FLOOR - To stun / Place for trading (5)
BELLOW - Roar like an animal / Nobel Literature Prize winner (6)
Each of the words' letters are in alphabetical order within each word.
VIOLA is valid for the clues for 'Very early web browser / Stringed instrument, yet the letters in VIOLA are not in alphabetical order.
(No claim is made to any discovery here, but for property hinted in ABC.) |

...which has the letters in reverse alphabetical order.
Probably would have been a better puzzle if I'd figured out a way to use both sets of clues to begin with. I couldn't work out how to flag up a sort order though, since the words weren't perfectly alphabetical - which would probably be the easiest and most elegant fix... _________________

Nicely done. VENETIAN actually only worked with NEHEMIAH, as the words remained cryptograms. Consonants shifted, but vowels did not. _________________ I hate people who try to write interesting things in their signature. |

Rather more than is usually likely of words with three letters which are also consecutive in the alphabet. I'm not sure what to do next, however.

Be sure to follow directions
SCABBARD - Sword sheath
ONCOLOGY - Study of cancer
FLEXIBLY - In a pliable way
OBSTACLE - Hindrance or disadvantage
WHIP - Indy's accessory
SAYING - Aphorism
VIRTUOSI - Musical masters
MAGICIAN - Practicer of prestidigitation
Too many options though for each word, need to spot a pattern before narrowing it down. Scabbard and Whip seem pretty likely, so maybe all words should start with S,W,N or E. |
