Aga had a good summery idea for a puzzle, so here goes another puzzle with a geographical answer. Consider it flattery.

PUZZLE

• Towers most often attached to religious buildings.
• Attitude most often associated with “Feminazi” characterisation
• Number a manuscript.
• Roman hill.
• Some claim Palin’s growing into a new career, and others that she’s mixed up.
• Belongs; refers.
• Priest school.

This still being summer (and spy-free), I will include some instructions for those that don't want to overexert themselves while vacationing. Read as needed:

HINTS (optional)

1. Solve the clues into single words.
2. Clues are alphabetically ordered by solution.
3. All solutions share the same length.
4. When you're all done, forget about words' actual meaning.
5. Reordering might make a next step more obvious.
6. Take a step in both directions.
7. Big Fat Late Spoiler: Perfect anagrams would be cliché, wouldn't they?

BTW I think hint 6 is the one required, since if you don't know this is the way to go there are a hell of a lot of variables...

I don't get some of the clues, but I think the first and last are minarets and seminary.
