Oh, dude, man, you should have been here earlier. I was multiplying these two numbers, and it was freakin' A, man. You should have seen it. I was totally multiplying those numbers, dude. The numbers I multiplied were. . .
Oh, crap. I can only remember three digits in the multiplication.
| Code: |
****
x****

**9*

**8**1* |
Can you help me reconstruct the rest of the calculation? That'd be, like, flippin' sweet.

I can only state the obvious for now.
The first section is multiplication with decimals where the last three digits are behind the decimal (not to mention for every row of numbers in the problems), the second section is of course adding.
And I might even work on more of the problem tomorrow. (I will)
But I just wanted to say MATH, YOU'RE BACK!!!

Whoa! You figured it out, Trojan Horse! How, like, totally radical! And, like, hey, TGC! Nice runnin' into ya, man.
So, dude, I just multiplied another pair of numbers, and it was soooo awesome! Seriously. It was gnarly, dude. I'm just so stoked right now from all the multiplying I just did! Here are the numbers I multiplied:
....
Crap, I forgot most of the digits again.

Um. . . Help me again, dude? _________________ My logic puzzle blog |

Whoa, duuude. I know it's been over a year and all, but I was just multiplying another pair of numbers, but before I had a chance to add up the three smaller products to calculate the final product, the paper caught on fire. Alas, all I remember are which digits are even (e) and which are odd (o).

Duuuuude. You need to use a calculator, man. Calculators are, like, totally awesome, and they're a lot faster than pen and paper (bogus).
How about this: (235x386=90710)? Does that look right, dude? |

. . . they make calculators? Dang. I didn't know that. That would save me a lot of trouble in the future.
And those numbers look exactly like the ones I was multiplying -- way cool! _________________ My logic puzzle blog |
