It is 6:49am!

I feel childish enough to stay awake out of spite. I don't like it when I get lectured and the other person is right. =( Not when I'm in this kind of mood, anyway. Oh the immaturity.

But, I won't. Outs.

Today I got a one hour nap in between work shifts. (My supervisor called just as I was about to finally get some sleep.) Yesterday I managed four hours in the morning before work, after being up all the night before that. I woke up at midday that day (the aforementioned "day before that"). So... *calculates*... 3am now... 5 hours' sleep out of the past 63? That doesn't seem right. It seems like too little in too long. Did I add an extra day? Maybe it's 5/39.

Whatever. I'm tired enough that I have lost my ability to count, in any case.

no, it's gotta be more than 48. bah this is confusing. I think I'll stop trying to work it out and just sleep

Well, just after I made that post a friend involved me in a conversation which took another hour. Then I slept soundly till 9am, when I was woken by a phone call from WORDCROSS!!! So I chatted to him for an hour, stayed up a while, browsed GL, made lunch for my sister and I, decided to head back to bed so I could get more sleep than the 5 hours I'd gotten. Once again, a phone call as I was drifting off... my niece is sick. So I had to go and get her from day care and am now babysitting.

Sigh.

Still, I feel much better. I think the 5 hours vastly improved the ratio. =)

I was the conversation friend. I confess, I kept Mackay up later than she should have been. It was a good conversation though! Well worth it, IMO.

I am now an insomniac. Mackay has hooked me. It's really not so bad, once you get used to it.

My mom tells me she used to sleep like me (12+ at the drop of a hat) but now that she's older she sleeps less in general, and often can't sleep. Not that....umm....you're old or anything....

It's not that I can't sleep, exactly, I just don't want to. It's not even that late, I know, but I won't be online for much longer, so I figured I should post now. Estimated time of giving up and falling asleep: 1.30am. Nothing compared to the hardcore insomniacs here, but y'know... Enthusiastic Grin

Darn, I've been dubbing minidisc tunes and gaping looking at pics in the picture thread. I need to get to sleep, my schedule is all screwed up. I have a job to do and need to go kayaking afterwards, rained out two days in a row. The days here in the north are getting noticeably shorter.

I sure could go for an indian head right now.

*bump*

4:00 AM. I'm restless and exhausted at the same time, but the restlessness is winning. Luckily I don't have to get up early tomorrow, but I probably will anyway just out of spite.

And I've got that late-night hunger and nausea that comes with a lack of sleep. Plus a headache.

Its been a very long day.

Mmm, just past 0400 here. My body just decided it didn't like missing dinner (I, uh, sort of forgot), so I'm going to go cook. On the bright side, my pile of work is slowly dwindling...

My away message says I'm asleep, but really I'm playing poker and listening to a song Kady sent me. It sounds like "J-Pop" mated with "ska" and had a hideous freak baby. I LOVE IT. So awesome. SO awesome.

Oh. And it's ~6am here. I think rather than stay in and sleep, I'm going to go into town... do some shopping... maybe even play bingo! I've never done that before! Usually I'm calling it.

*lovars days off* I'm surprisingly un-tired for having gotten little sleep last night and worked all day. I think maybe I'll get some caffeine in me, just to reinforce it. Ohh yeaahh.

I'm still awake because I purchased a NAMCO disc for my Playstation 2. It's been a long time since I played Pacman, Ms Pacman, Galaga, Galaxian, etc. I'm taking a break now, but I think I'll play until I just can't stay awake...

*is very late and not at all an insomniac, sorry* Which song is that? Because I sent you several, and I can't remember which one is most ska-like. Was it Be All Right? I'll have to send you some more, I think I'm converthing you.
