I fail at everything except drinking.

Surprisingly enough though, I am in exceptionally high spirits.

(..no pun intended, QAt least until I typed this sentence, because, y'know, I could justhave gone back and edited "high spirits" to something else./)

Quality is the drink when it comes to being more aged that one used to be, trust me, you'll find out later in life!
When one was but an angulas many moons ago, I had many drinking sessions with my comrades and we tended to go for the 'cheap in bulk' option. Being young, wealthy, powerful, sexy, muscular, buff and a complete liar, I was able to wake up in the morn after an abusive alcohol session, yawn, fart, scratch the dangley bits, then get on with another grog session without any hangover at all. I tried doing this a couple of years back, cheap hooch, a plentyful eve, and much comsumed distilled ethanol. Problem was that the next day I awoke in a type of uttanasana yoga position on the sofa, dried dribble on my neck, and my face clowny designed with wife's make up. I felt like shit for several days after.
Now, that was drinking the rather rough 'Gordons Gin', a drink I would not recommend to even the most hearty of gluggers. Several weeks back, I fell to the temptation of doing it again, but this time I bought some 'Martin Miller's Gin'. After a night of debauched fun filled gin swigging I once again woke up on a strange piece of furnature in a strange position, but this time I was fine if only for a slight dullness in my head and a mouth drier that a nuns punani.
The quality of the Millers gin was far superior to the London crap, thus making my 'morn-after-the-eve' more pleasurable. So what has this taught me? Well, nothing really except that I should stick to ale instead of Gin if i'm going on a rat arse bender.

Right now I'm sipping on a 15 yo Calvados Berneroy. Later I will be necking several bottles of cheap Kraut wine. I never learn me!

Badmouthing Gordons, HOW DARE YOU!!!
Gordons is smooth as silk compared to some of the paint stripper I have consumed on the "waiting desperately for the wages" nights.
I have, at various stages in the last few years, lived on the stuff, I heartily recommend Gordons to even the least hearty of gluggers!

Of all the wonderful, smooth, delicious malts Scotland has to offer, why pick a bottle of Shite & Decay for your tipple?

Last night I was mostly drinking Ruddles, intertwined with sipping Appleton Estate VX rum.

The word "shite" is a marvelous thing, almost up there with "doodle" and "bioobies". I miss chatting with Aga.

Southern Comfort is nice straight, and normally i'm too much of a wuss to drink alcomohol straight. I am surprisingly un-drunk given how much I've been drinking, that whole "eating" thing sure makes a differents.

Hee hee, "differents". I just looked up to check for typos, but that one is kinda phonetically neat so I'm leaving it.

AGA I MISS YOZU I'M SORRY I BECAME SUCH A STUFFED SHIRT.

heh heh. my shirt is pretty "stuffed" if you know what I mean. I'm going to admire my fantastic rack now.

Ahhh! Southern Comfort

Known for nasty hangovers too.

I had a bad night on Southy once.
I can't even stand the smell of it now.

God help you Mackay when you wake up.

I got totally wasted on So-Co (Southern Comfort) once, but we were making some blitzed out cocktail with it.
It was 1 shot So-Co, 2 shots Taboo, and 1 shot Benedictine.
I was rougher than a welders arsecrack the next day.

I'd never heard of Taboo before, but by George that sounds nasty Felicitous

I thank you both for your concern but I'm okay.

Worse than usual after a night out, though. Slight headache and my eyes are having trouble adjusting to being open, for someone who basically doesn't get hung over this is pretty bad. =)

So-Co ~shudders~ Used to fire it into me like it was going out of fashion, the smell of it now turns my stomach, same as tequilla.
I'm actually going to have to start drinking the foul ash laden brew that is hte Guiness, feeling very tired these days and mam reckons it could be low iron (which she also has)

Tonight I will be mostly eating curry and drinking Cobra.
It's not a beer I would entertain normally, but when in a curry house one does not have much of an ale choice!
But, I've found that if you add a shot of Tia Maria to it, it tastes a little like an oatmeal stout.....far more palitable to me!

Tomorrow, I will be mostly on the toilet Revenge most foul!

In almost 6 years of this thread's existence there are under 1000 posts. That's just pitiful, folks. I don't think there's been enough drinking going on here in my absence.

Drunk on SoCo & coke...nom nom nom. Oh and I think there's some lime juice in there too, whatev. It's not fair, really, they kept refilling my glass before it would get emptyk, so I can't tell how many I had. Mrph. Oh well, drunken Rock Band is way more fun than sober Rock Band any day! Woo! Note: this post made sense in my head at the time. I can't help it if you're too sober to understqand what I mean.

edit: This is going to suck tomorrow. A lot.
