I am making an attempt to catalog all of my published puzzles. Everything I posted here from 2005+ shows up using the search feature, but I am having trouble finding things older than that. (My older posts are listed as "Ghost Post", and even older ones are just gone.) I am still looking for the following:
Black to play and lose whether white likes it or not - A chess puzzle where one side forces the other to mate him. I'd like the initial board position.
Double Features - Movie mash-ups... eg "The Land Before TimeCop"
One Word Lyrics
Lots of Characters in Search of an Exit - The original (circa 2001?), not the remake here. Ran in the Visitor Games Forum. In particular, I'd like to remember the original puzzles for the Purple room and Green room, aka rooms 2 and 3.
Anything else prior to 2005 that anyone found halfway decent or memorable
I also believe I have run 10 autobiographical lateral thinking puzzles on a verity of messages boards (Books Cafe, Yes/No/Yope, and the GL). I remember all but one of them. They are
A Friendly Invasion
The Second Oldest Trick in the Book (I would rename this: An Eary Discovery)
??? (Some puzzle I don't remember, or possibly just imagined - circa 2002)
From L'lanmal with Love
L'lanmal's Autobiography Part 5
The Importance of Rubbers
A Trying Night
Simple Partial Order Logic (I would rename this: Simple Ordering Logic)
Don't Worry, It's Just Every Day Violence (On the GL, not particularly personal)
No Misunderstanding Here (On the GL)
I am more interested in the puzzles than the threads themselves. Can anyone jog my memory on the third lateral thinking, or on any of the above puzzles? |
