It is humorous fantasy, something like the Xanth series by Piers Anthony and the 'Myth' books by Robert Lynn Aspirin. It doesn't take itself seriously; the books are very short; and some of them are very funny. I think I've ready 5 or 6 of them, and that isn't even a dent.

I'll be glad to join, when it comes up in the rotation.

Like Zag said, it is indeed a massive series, although I'm keeping it limited to "The Thief of Time" and prior. The book series has groups of books that are centered around specific characters, such as the Watch, Witches, or Death, so if you start the series, you can always read the smaller runs, rather than the whole series in order. If you like rock and roll, "Soul Music" is a great read, for instance, and falls in what I would call the Death "series".

It can help to know the books, but it is not at all necessary (more like, worth an extra giggle for having insider knowledge than anything else). I won't include anyone not found on a Wiki, so those who are unfamiliar with the series can't look up their character or those of others.

Tentatively IN...but I know nothing about the series. However, if you claim a wiki is enough to get me up to speed then ok.

However, I'll have very limited internet access between Jan and Mar 2013 (as I did this year) so I won't be wanting to play if the game is starting/running around then...it's not fair on the other players and mods (and it's too hard for me to keep up!)
