Having been five years since my premiere in visitor games, I wanted to commemorate it by trying to get back in the swing of starting games and participating in them. (When ideas or slots are available)

This one, a bit more experimental, will be less dependent on a large player list trying to fill its quota or an overly complicated game concept attempting to resolve itself. This one is simply about probability and player actions affecting said probability with (ideally) a keen strategy.

Meet the Dice List:
1. Kyle
2. Jimmy
3. Jimmy
4. Kyle
5. Glen

As you can see, in this example, each round, player names are placed on the dice list in the hopes of attaining the dice's rolled number. Via dice tags,

Dice Roll:
Original Roll String: 1d5
1 5-Sided Dice Results: 4

The number is determined, and the rolled number is the winner of the round. Just how is the list determined for each round? I'm glad you asked. Cannibal

PURCHASING:
At the start of the game, each player is designated 500 points. With their remaining points they can purchase slots each round to put up on the Dice List for a pre-determined number of rounds.

Roll Again: 2 points each, Lasts 1 round
Fairly self-explanatory. A 'Roll Again' slot is purchased and put on the DL. If the dice lands there, it has to roll again. A cheap alternative to fudging with the odds in order to have the dice avoid your opponents. Is only in effect for one round.

Name Slots: 10 points each, Lasts 3 rounds
These are slots you purchase in order to win rounds. A slot with your username is put on the DL. If the dice lands there, you win the round. This entails winning the pot of the round, and thus gaining all the points that went into purchasing slots for that round Is only in effect for 3 rounds.

Wildcards: 5 points each, Lasts 2 rounds
These are slots that determine the winner of the round as you see fit. Therefore, when purchasing these types of slots to put on the list, it is important that you inform the mod as to what activity ensues should the dice land on the spot.

Examples:
Quote:
12. Title: Pick a Number Description: All players pick a # 1-X. The dice is rolled. The number closest to the one the dice lands on wins the pot.
13. Title: RAF Description: All players engage in a game of RAF to determine who wins the round.
14. Title: Puzzle Description: All players work to solve a puzzle created by the moderator. First to come up with the solution wins the round.

The slot will be established as long as it follows a few guidelines (overall, meets approval):
1. Is not automatically biased (No "The person who rolled this automatically wins"). There must be some sort of process.
2. Is not overly intricate and would require numerous submissions on the part of all players.
3. Future conditions as set forth by the mod when flaws arise in the makeup of a "Wildcard".

Once a player is out of points to spend and can no longer gain any points, he/she is out of the game. Ideally it would go until "last player standing" but may be adjusted to "last player(s)", 2 or 3, if the game slows down drastically at any point.

Absence of purchase for 3 consecutive rounds will result in a 10 point deduction from your stock and a 5 point deduction for every subsequent round where your purchasing is absent.

So, that about does it. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to post them. Ideally, this game seats about 5 but I am willing to settle for more/less depending on the circumstances of VG.

Sure, and should no one else sign up you'll have the added benefit of being the default winner. Laughing

Also, I changed the 'fixed' dice that appeared from editing MNOWAX's name in just to make sure the example was clear, I'll be sure to post the list as each player signs up from now on.
