I worked on Zag's "Spoonerism Puzzle" before attending an event, and I simply could not pay attention to the program. All I could do was come up with new Spoonerisms for several hours.
Format is the same as Zag's. Below is a list of clues that will pair off into Spoonerisms.

Funny. Are "coffins" and "softens" technically correct? I'll have to remember that for future puzzles. _________________ I hate people who try to write interesting things in their signature. |

Better than some of the rather lame matches that I made in my puzzles. (I think my worst was "Cool world / wool curled.") I, however, tried to restrict myself to having at least one of the phrases be a real expression. Not that there's anything wrong with them both being something made-up and silly. Oh no, not at all!
(Seriously, thanks for the puzzle. I've enjoyed it. I've written quite a few of these, and I always wanted to try solving one.) |

Gah! I knew it was going to be "Flipper" but couldn't find anything to go with it. (I also spent ages looking for a "Beak Groat" in the clues...)
Thanks for this (and you too, Zag, even if I missed your set first time around.) _________________

It's bad enough that I'll even spoiler the clue.
