Opinion contrary to established doctrine This is the classic definition of heresy, so I possibly am confused as to the theme, which I thought was words with X in them.

You know I was thinking, since X means ten, and each word has ten letters, but there are only nine words, I think we could be supposed to make a tenth word from an anagram of the first letters of the first nine. No idea though.

With "heterodoxy" instead of "unorthodox", the last letters when sorting as referee suggested spell out "adrenally". Which is sort of a weird answer word, but then last letters are a tough place to hide a message.
