I think ten bottles for the party will be adequate enough. What is the problem with this sentence? Apparently, there is a name for it, but I am stuck!!

Or, if one wants to nitpick, "adequate enough" is a redundancy. The sentence itself is hardly redundant, as this thread would be somewhat pointless without it .

Indeed, adequate enough is the error.

it's like saying:

Ten bottles cost expensive.

Instead you should be saying:
Quote:
Ten bottles are expensive

and
Quote:
Ten bottles cost cheap
