Apologies to anyone who has seen this episode of Jonathan Creek but I was wondering whether anyone else could work this out.

A drug dealer is killed on a derilict farm he is definately dead and is taken to a room in the old farmhouse and laid on the farside of it. The door is boarded up and locked with a key that is later disposed of. When the police are tipped off about his killing some months later they go to the farm, break down the door that was still intact and discover that he has moved from the far side of the room to the top of the stairs leading up to the door. The rest of the room is inpenetrable so how did the dead man make his way to the other side of the room?

i was gonna ask that too, it woudl be like something of jonahton creek, used to watch it havent seen it in ages
if not flooded, a colony of mutated rats perhaps?
