I hope this is a quickie! I think it can be solved easily with no questions, similar to that one with the bicycles. It's probably only slightly tougher, since it's never been done before and is not a chestnut, but expect it to become one in 10 minutes.

Then THOUSANDS of planes drop atom bombs on you. They cannot be shot down because they have a secret shield surrounding them that only lets bombs drop from the plane. They are so high in the sky, they are not affected by the explosions.

The Secret Shield alters the atomic structure of the bombs and causes a chain reaction with all the unstable matter in the Earth. The planes eventually run out of fuel and plummet into the seething magma below them. Everyone dies and nobody wins.
