I was going on a really dull safari recently and had taken some words. However, when I woke up the next morning, I saw the words SAFARI and thought, I don't remember taking that word with me!" I searched around the jungle and found a sack with letters that had obviously been stolen from the words. I discovered, however, that they could be fixed by taking three consecutive letters from the bag and putting them in that order into the words from top to bottom. For example, after taking ENG out, SAFARI became SEAFARING. Ah, that's better. As I fixed the words in this manner, the safari became less lackluster. At the end, eight letters were left which spelled out my last word. Can you figure out the 11 words (1 given, 9 to be completed, and 1 left in the bag) ?
code:
C I G M P O T E N G D N L E A N Q U N A M A C E A S B M L T A R B R I M O N
Current String (invisible)
C I N N A B A R M O N
Words and Answers (invisible)
SAFARI SEAFARING--> me (given)
PANTRY PLANETARY--> Coyote
BLAND BALANCED--> Coyote
THEMATIC MATHEMATICS--> Coyote
ARCADE BARRICADE--> g0pher
CHAIN CHAMPION--> Jen
TRAIL TRANQUIL--> Milt
SALES SMALLEST--> impossibleroot
DISUSE DISGUSTED--> Coyote
TAPIS
Good Work, Guys!
This puzzle was hard for me to make, by the way. The hard part was finding words so that removing three letters would leave a new word.
Hope it isn't too difficult to solve!
P.S. Read the first letter of each word in the title to see what this puzzle is about

| Bagged one! He's a big brute too--don't know how I'll fit a trophy of such planetary dimensions into my den! |

That's probably right, but I think it's safest to do the list in order because every word solved changes part of the string.
For example, I would need to change BLAND into BALANCED in order to make the 'mas' available for changing THEMATIC into MATHEMATICS.

DISUSE => DISGUSTED
I assume the final word is either CINNAMON or CINNABAR, but so far I can't seem to make a word out of TAPIS. |

| Okay, I cheated and consulted M-W to find the TAPIS word. It wasn't familiar to me and M-W listed it as 'obsolete'. Since I had to cheat I'll leave it for someone with a more extensive vocabulary than me. |

| So far, all the answers are correct. I can't believe that you've gotten this far already! I'm so sorry, Coyote, if that TAPIS word is unfamiliar or obsolete. I must confess that I cheated to find that word in order to create the ambiguity between the two choices. |

TAMPIONS? Or TABAPIRS? (I'm using my "Boggle seems to know more words than would normally exist in the English language so I must resort to randomly making up words" logic here) |
