Dear Mayor M. Buck:

It is unforntunate to report that the little harbor town of Lynchport will soon experience the desecration of your people. We cannot yet determine the men behind this operation. However, it has been confirmed that they plan to put a price on your head in the end.

We are currently working at this problem day and night. As long as you have us, I will gaurantee that you will be safe from any harm.

Long live the Mayor!

This a game consisting of townies, cops, docs, and mafia.

Mudbuck's Golden Mafia Rules:

01 - Have fun. Don't be a dick. It's only a game.
02 - Do not cheat. No editting, deleting, nor invising.
03 - Only privately talk to others if you are allowed.
04 - Quoting PM's, e-mails, etc. from the moderator only is fine, but do so sparingly.
05 - There might be some confusion, but most often I'm right. If you disagree, talk to me privately.

Retired cop Charles Righteousman arrived just in time. A shadey character was being removed from the cold, asphalt driveway, stained in blood from a fresh bullet wound. Robert E. Coolage, the most trusted sidekick ever during the popular reign of Righteousman, slid his way through the scene to his former boss. "Coffee would do you good, eh?"

The old, old cop closed his eyes and said, "No. No. I'm well enough awake."

The young cop looked around the scene. "This takes you back, no? To those good old days when we were an unstoppable force. We'd piece out any scene given to us."

"I'm getting too old. I cannot even recognize the victim."

"You probably wouldn't. That guy's name was Internet Stranger. He works for the Mafia."

"Internet Stranger? What hippies are still naming their children like that?"

Coolage shifted. The conversation was wandering, which was very unlike Righteousman. He would never trail off like this. "Do you know about the other homicide, eh?"

"Hm? What? Who was killed?"

"Some poor chap named Mgm, strangled to death then stuffed underneath the kitchen sink. Such an Innocent civilian."

"Mgm? No..." The old cop whimpered reservedly. A tear rolled down his right eye. "No! I do not know the man!" He stormed out of the house.

Coolage frowned and followed. His hero had lost it all.

"I'm leaving this town for good," said Righteousman at last. "There is nothing left in me here. I will only be a hinderence to everybody. To Rogueport, onwards!"
--------------
THE STORY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH GAMEPLAY EXCEPT FOR DEATHS.
--------------
Day 1.

Sunset begins May 8 at 10:00PM Pacific.
During sunset, all votes are double weighted.

13 alive, 8 to lynch.

Samadhi, I don't think the deadline is on that Sunday. That is just when it becomes "sunset" and causes all votes to be counted double, not night. At least, that's what I take it to mean.

Random vote: Persona

When all votes are counted double, then if two people have enough votes to be lynched (i.e. 8+ votes), would the person with more votes get lynched or do we get to vote between the two? What if these two people have the same number of votes?

Was this remark necessary? How can TCM be a "bandwagon" leader if the votes against him were all random? Can TCM really be a bandwagon "leader" if he only has 2 votes against him? And "convenient" conjures up ideas of selfishness, which I don't think really happened.

FOS: Leonidas.

I'm concerned, with a Twilight coming up in just a few days, one person already has four votes, especially when one of his voters is already double FOSed. I'm going to do my part to even it out, voting for the person with the second most votes and most FoSes. Unvote: Quagmire

While I normally avoid defending people who are voting for me, Leo has been FoSed twice for the same action, and is now receiving votes for being FoSed, when all he did as far as I can tell is misread my posts. He hasn't posted since he voted for me, which means he hasn't had a chance yet to realize his mistake and retract it. So although I can appreciate what you're doing for me, Persona, and I thank you, I think it would be better if you voted for someone else. At least until Leo has a chance to check back in and withdraw his statement.
