For this occasion I have selected a DP classic set-up: no themes, but everyone has some sort of role other than townie. The mayhem will soon start in the quiet Sicilian village of Mozzarella......

THE RULES
[01] Have fun and don't be a jerk. Please have consideration for the other players and the mod, and actually PLAY the game by posting and voting.
[02] No communication outside the thread unless your role allows you to do so and then only in the game's nights.
[03] Get your choices in before the deadlines. If not, a random choice will be made for the first night, and no choice for subsequent nights.
[04] No quoting my or others emails/PMs.
[05] If you're dead YOU'RE DEAD. No more posting relevant information after that.
[06] Lynching will be carried out once a regular majority is reached - and cannot be undone by unvoting. If I impose a day deadline, lynching will require at least half of the regular majority. In case of a tie, first come first served. In the endgame (six players or less) only lynches with a regular majority will occur.
[07] Only votes in BOLD will be counted. Please clearly unvote if you want to change your vote.
[08] Do NOT edit or delete your posts! If you made a coding error, just post again.
[09] Do NOT post in invisible text.
[10] You are not allowed to quote or paraphrase your winning condition, unless you want to risk a modslaying.
[11] It is risky to lynch someone based on spelling errors in their role name. I have been known to make some in the set-up of my games.
[12] The mod is always right. Accept the decisions, and if you want to discuss them, take it to email, or do so after the game has finished.

You are a junkie. You are on the towns side. Every night if you want to, you can pick a name, take a shit load of LSD, and get a strange vision of the player you chose, which will be related to his/her actions that night. The effects of the vision (and the drugs) leave you whacked out all day, so you're only allowed to make one post. If you choose to not use your ability at night, you can post freely.
This role was invented by IS as a claim in R&P2. It's the second time I actually use it - the first time, the junkie died night 1, the second time day 1....

Courk,
You are a commuter, who is out of town on odd nights. You are on the towns side. On odd nights, you cannot be killed.

Quailman,
You are an overachiever. You are on the towns side. Your sterling education has prepared you to take over from either a cop or a doctor, whomever dies first. Should they die in the same night, you get to choose whom you will replace.

Jadesmar,
You are a prophet. You are on the towns side. As a prophet, you can try to predict who will be lynched the following day. If you are right, you will be immune for one night attack the next night.

Soothsayer,
You are a paranoid eccentric. You are on the town's side. Every night you have the choice to activate your fiendish alarm system or not. If you activate it, anyone trying to kill you, trying to investigate you or trying to heal you will end up being bitten to death by the rattlesnakes which form the core of your alarm system.

Samadhi,
You are a mason. You are on the town's side. As masons, you can discuss during the nights.

Sweetwater,
You are a cop. You are on the towns side. You are able to determine whether someone is mafia or not. Send me a name every night and I will tell you mafia/not mafia. A Godfather will show up as not mafia.

Chienfou,
You are a hobo. You are on the town's side. Unfortunately you have no home, and staying out on the streets means certain death. So you choose every night a player at whose house you'll sleep. If someone tries to kill you, they can't find you. If someone tries to kill your host of choice, you get targeted as well - a doc would save you both though.

Elayne,
You are HANNIBAL THE CANNIBAL, serial killer. Your task is to eat other players and ensure that you're the last one alive at the end of the game. Every night you have the choice to go defensive or offensive. If you choose defensive, you will not eat someone, unless someone tries to kill you. In that case you will eat the attacker(s). If you go offensive, you can select a player to eat. Note that you cannot do without a meal for three nights in a row: you'll die of hunger. Note also that you may appear to be a doctor to some players.

Dawn breaks over Mozzarella. It is a crisp winter morning, with a hint of spring in the air. The mighty Etna looms in the background, but today even that volcano seems almost friendly. Is it just your imagination, or do the trees already show tiny flowers? It must be your imagination. The smell of fresh cappuccino on the other hand is real. As you slowly walk to the town square, you enjoy the sight of two dogs frolicing around, a bunch of children playing with a ball, and a cat washing himself at the rim of the city well. Ah, life is good..

A lot of prose about non essential things, because for the rest there is not much to report. All 20 of you are still alive - so if you want to destroy the pastoral feelings, it will take 11 votes for a lynch.
