Alright, the front post has been updated, and now includes episode descriptions on the count that I have been asked to give something, so I did....Word for Word from the episode descriptions on the collector's set box. I don't know how much it will help, but you never know.

Howdy, everyone. Just to help people get up to speed if they haven't seen the episodes, I've summarized them and listed possible characters and scum:

Cat Orgy - Cartman's mom goes to a meteor watching party, and he is left home with Shelly to babysit. Shelly is Stan's older (12 year old) sister. Shelly is a bit of a bully to her brother, and not a very nice babysitter. She's ugly, with braces, a lisp, and a bad temper. Shelly has her boyfriend Skylar come over while she is babysitting. Skylar is a 22-year old loser, lead vocalist of Lords of the Underworld. Cartman's cat is in heat, wanders off, and has sex with every male cat in South Park. Cartman is really into the movie Wild Wild West. Cartman doesn't like Shelly's treatment, and tries to record evidence that her boyfriend was over to get her in trouble.
Likely characters: Cartman, Cartman's Mom, Shelly, Skylar, Cartman's Cat
Possible scum: Shelly, Skylar, Cartman

Two Naked Guys in a Hot Tub - The adults of South Park have a meteor watching dinner party at Mr Mackey's house. A few kids are brought along and stuffed into the basement, including Stan (already dead now), Butters, Pip, and Dougie. Butters, Pip, and Dougie, also knows as the "Melvins" for being dorky, decide to play Charlie's Angels, with Stan as Bosley. Butters is innocent and naive, but not stupid. Pip is the polite English kid who is bullied by everyone. Dougie is a very short nerdy kid who is also bullied. The ATF becomes convinced that the partygoers belong to a cult and are all going to commit mass-suicide, so they have a WACOesque standoff. The parents aren't paying attention and don't know about the ATF, even though partygoers are occasionally shot as they try to leave, but the boys see it on the news. Stan and the Angels make a take and Butters sneaks out to deliver it to the media. Stan's dad Randy and Kyle's dad Gerald experiment with homosexuality in the hot tub then feel embarassed around each other.
Likely characters: Stan, Butters, Pip, Dougie, ATF agents, Stan's parents, Kyle's parents, Mr Mackey, Chef, other adults at party, the media
Possible scum: the ATF

Jewbilee - Kyle goes to the Jew Scouts Jewbilee, and takes Kenny (who isn't jewish), while his parents are at the meteor party. His little brother, Ike, goes to the junior version, Squirts. Kyle and Kenny make soap sculptures, and Ike makes macaroni pictures. The jewish elders are perform some secret ritual involving a big disembodied spinning face that is supposed to be Moses. Moses has them ban Kenny for not being jewish. An evil anti-semitic jewish elder tries to subvert the ritual to summon the evil Haman to destroy the Jews. The squirts' incompetent troop leader wants to capture a bear to get a merit badge. He captures a bear cub, and the mother chases the Squirts and captures them, but Ike saves the day. Kenny martyrs himself to release moses and defeat Haman.
Likely characters: Kyle, Kenny, Ike, Squirt troop leader, Anti-Semitic Jewish Elder, Moses, Haman, bear, cub, squirts, elders

Or they could have just watched the episodes themselves. I have no more insight into which roles will actually be assigned than anyone else, those are just basic guesses. Whats the point of playing a scenario that you don't understand? How can it possibly be a bad thing that people who haven't seen the episodes can understand what they're participating in? It would just be a generic game rather than a South Park game for those players that didn't know about the characters involved. Basic knowledge of the episodes gives the Townies as much info about what to look for as anyone else. Note that I didn't give the Mafia any hints about any special Townie roles to claim, and if they falsely claim a potential scum role, that wouldn't be particularly smart of them.

Mafia members tend to do more research than normal townies. The mafia needs to know what's going on so they can put together role claims, whereas the townies are emailed everything they need to know. Posting potential roles does not help the mafia, so I think Andie's reasons for voting Zerok are not valid. On the other hand Zerok has expressed a clear understanding of the episodes in question. I doubt he pulled those summaries remembering watching the episodes themselves. Vote Zerok

Oh, and if he were scum, he would be able to talk with his scum buddies at night, so he has a better way of giving them advice on role claims if he needed it.

No, it wasn't really smart of BadAndie to post all that info. It is just making life for the scum easier (read: BadAndie did their research for them).

On the other hand Zerok's argument isn't really sound either. Smart scum would've Googled their role and the episodes by now anyway, so BadAndie's post just reiterated that info, adding to it by telling us which roles she found the be likely scum. FOS: Zerok for using Crap Logic

I think Nanook meant the Meteor Shower Party here. I'm tending towards believing a loud bang is the work of some ATF mafia.

ok MGM you have your facts all screwed up, i didn't post the who is who in the 3 shows.
OK so yeah it was nice to hear what the shows were for people who don't watch the show, but it isn't the greates idea to post who could be good and who could be bad. It would have been better to post what the show was about and then a list of characters.

I'd just like to point out that mafiasos looking for a false role don't have to google everything and have it formatted nicely. They just need to find one or two Townie roles which is trivially easy. I really don't think what I did materially benefits or hurts anyone in gameplay terms, nor does it tell you anything about me except that I have free time and like South Park.

I really dont think that ZeroK would lay out everything including several possible easy claims for the mafia to use if he were mafia. He would just use those roles himself if he needed to claim.

On another note - I didnt mention it before, but I have STRONG reasons to suspect Dragon Phoenix as mafia- I dont really wanna get into them until/if Dragon claims.

Way to go people. What happened to the good old tactics of seeing whether a cop (assuming that Narninian is one from his post) is paranoid or sane?

I can assure that I am on the town's side. I'm not going to claim on day one, as that is against my philosophy of how the game should be played (the regulars here can confirm that). Note that if I were really scum, I could easily pick a name from the list that ZeroK so helpfully supplied for the mafia to choose from.

Im not exactly claiming cop - Sanity is not an issue. A role claim is the only thing that can determine your guilt or not - right now its heavily pointing to guilty.

Personally I interpreted Narninian's accusatory post to mean more of something where he may have seen DP do something, such as leaving the scene of a crime or something - not as Narninian being a cop... I would assume the mafia mentality would instantly assume Narninian's post as being coppish.

I'm not going to throw in a vote for DP just yet without a little more reason to believe Narninian. As DP said, not even Narninian can know for sure if he's a sane cop after one night, especially in South Park.

However, DP, I think its a little childish to throw in that little jab at me in your defense. If you read the opening post of this thread, you'll note that nearly all of the townie roles I mentioned are already listed in the opening post. I mostly filled out the list with scum names not listed in the summaries. I didn't make anything easier or harder for anyone in this game, just slightly more interesting. For those people who have never seen South Park and need a fake role, its not like there is a shortage of South Park web sites. Your dead-horse beating just comes off as a half-hearted rhetorical trick.

Ok - I agree you shouldnt blindly follow me - Im not an insane, naive, paranoid, or sane cop at all. My information is accurate- but it does not 100% implicate Dragon Phoenix. I have information that indicates DP as a role that seems likely to be scum.
